Hello,
I'm new to this group, so just trying to read all the posts (well, maybe not exactly ALL of them - ha, ha!!) and get acquainted. I recently published my first book on Amazon Kindle, "Why're You Put Together All Wrong Like That...?" It was intended to be mainly farce (I'm British) but people have told me it gives them a lot of insight into real dog behaviour. Another surprise was to learn that older children are enjoying it lots.
Well, off to continue reading posts from others - very happy to have found this forum!

It's great to be here, Vince. As time evolves, I'll become more and more active. Looking forward to reading and recommending many of the "Labors of Love" that I find here. My first novel, "Bones of My Brother", (Hillcrest Media) will be out later this summer, so as you can imagine I am both very busy and excited. Thanks again for setting up this group!

Is this group just for published (as in paperback or hardback) books, or are on-line books allowed? I'm not selling my stuff, I just want people to read it.

My first book of the series, Sapphire Eyes, follows a single mother who works EMS and gets inducted into a Secret Society of Magical Medics. The book follows her on her daily journeys, EMS calls and adds a small twist of magic.

Most of us here are like that! Of course you should want to sell your books - why not? Tell us what they are called, for a start...

Although, I find myself gravitating to non-fiction and self-help books the most. I also like to stay abreast of what's happening in the publishing industry.
