message 252: by Rahma (new)

Rahma Krambo (rahmakrambo) Greetings: I am getting close to publishing my book, GUARDIAN CATS AND THE LOST BOOKS OF ALEXANDRIA. I recall seeing another author had listed their pre-published book a ways back, creating interest ahead of publication date.

Was I just imagining this or can I list my book now?
Thanks Vincent for this forum.

I'm glad to have our newest authors on our group!

It is my goal to try to connect readers to authors, authors to readers, in the most efficient way possible. It has become a neat passion of mine.

Thanks John. I do have an author's blog at rahmakrambo.com but I see that some authors have a GoodReads blog as well. I just don't see anyway to add one here.

D.K. Thomas (dkthomas) | 3 comments Very pleased to be involved in this group. I'm a new member to the site. After spending years writing it, I've finally finished my first novel and I self-published it on Amazon last week as an eBook. It's very early days, so nobody has read or reviewed it yet. I'd very extremely grateful for any support at the start of my journey here.

It is called 'The Ellroy Delflection'

I've also started a blog at www.davidkevinthomas.blogspot.com if anyone wants to know more about me.

Thanks for reading

Hi everyone! I'm new here, and just skimmed through here.

Rahma, if you join the author program, you can link your blog to your profile on Goodreads. I think.

Hi D

What's your book about? I am just doing the final edit on my novel, and hopefully it will be available on Amazon and in the shops etc., sometime in August! It's a comedy/action/romance/chick lit entitled The Thin Blue Line, a tale of life, love and unplanned pregnancies!

message 272: by D.K. (new)

D.K. Thomas (dkthomas) | 3 comments Hi Sarah,

Your novel sounds like an exciting mix. Mine is a bit darker. It's a gritty crime thriller set in a fictional British city called Ellroy. I've also written a short piece of flash fiction set a few months before it with a view to promoting the novel. I've got a blog at http://www.davidkevinthomas.blogspot.com if you want to follow me or just for more information.

Thanks for doing this. I am a recent Goodreads Author. I co-author a book that is Action/Adventure/Political Intrigue...so I will find something that is appropriate.

I'm wondering is it okay to recommend other sites that are designed for readers to browse and authors to add their books by genre?

Alan McDermott (jambalian) | 25 comments Hi everyone. My name is Alan and I'm the author of Gray Justice. If you follow the link you can read the first half of the book for free before deciding whether or not to splash out a massive $0.99 for the rest of it.

Gray Justice is an action thriller and I think it would appeal to fans of Andy McNab and Chris Ryan.

This is my first novel and I am currently working on the sequel.

John Cavi (johncavi1930gmailcom) | 1 comments Hi: Thanks for the invite. My pen name is John Cavi, and I'm the author of my first novel, The President's Ultimatum, and my first blog, Common Sense Revisited. A synopsis of the novel, the prologue and the blog can be viewed at my website: http://www.johncavi.com .

This thrilling novel of action, adventure, political intrigue, and a poignant love story is wrapped around the Israeli Palestinian conflict. The novel was awarded the Editors Chice and Rising Star designations by the publisher-iUniverse. There are not many reviews to date because the book was just released, but those few that are posted on Amazon, and the one posted on Goodreads are very encouraging.
