Carrie Kitzmiller (carriekitzmiller) Hi, everyone - this is a post to announce that the 2010 100+ Challenge post is up at J. Kaye's Book Blog, if you do the challenge on a blog and want to link.

For those of you who plan to track your challenge progress here, feel free to start a new topic in the correct alphabetical folder to track your reading for 2010.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Carrie

Ananya | 6 comments Hello everyone, I'm Ananya, and am really thrilled to find a group that has such an exciting motto...Joined on 27th! Surely I hope to have fun and knowledge together here. Where can I get information regarding the terms & of course, tips related to adding books ???

Carrie Kitzmiller (carriekitzmiller) Hi, Ananya - it's very easy - just set up a new topic under the A-B lists folders and then list your books there. Any book that you start and finish in 2010 counts - as long as it's published as a book on it's own. (separate books of the Bible don't count) E-books, audiobooks, children's books - are all okay. Hope this helps!
Carrie

Elizabeth (bkreadr) | 440 comments 2009 was the first time I tracked how many books I read. I was surprised at how many I read in 2009. Let the 2010 fun begin=:^)

Carrie Kitzmiller (carriekitzmiller) Elizabeth - I'm excited, too - I am in progress on three books that I'm trying to finish before midnight Thursday to end the year, then start fresh on the 1st.

Carrie,
I'm dragging out the last book I'm reading so I can start fresh on the 1st as well. I have only 150 pages left. I'm spending more time on goodreads to take up the time.

Elizabeth (bkreadr) | 440 comments So, what are you two reading? I am reading The Grave Digger's Daughter for myself. Harriet the Spy to my 8yr old daughter and The Book Thief to my 10 yr old son.

Karen | 3 comments Yikes! just calculated how many books per week this will be... not sure I can make 100!!

message 14: by Carrie (new)

Carrie Kitzmiller (carriekitzmiller) I just finished City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare this afternoon. I'm still in the middle of Things That Make Us (Sic) by Martha Brockenbrough and Now and Then by Jacqueline Sheehan.

Carrie Kitzmiller (carriekitzmiller) Klehmenteen wrote: "Does rereading count?"

Klehmenteen - absolutely! As long as you start and finish it in 2010, it counts, even if you've read it a dozen times before. :)
