I've just finished listening to Paper Towns by John Green and it's about seniors graduating highschool. One of the girls has just turned 18 and is already a legal adult. And I'd still count is as a kids book, I mean it's designed for kids so why not. But I think this is the upper limit - 18 yo and end of highschool.

Children for me is like 12 years old and under....after that it becomes a teen book. Still, I'm not very strict on it. Although anybody over 18 is definitely not a child... :)
