I attempted to do 65 last (this) year but it didn't quite pan out. Currently I think I am at 54 but the year is not over yet and I really doubt I can get in 11 more!

Jen (nekokitty) | 339 comments I'm going to try to stick with 50. It's not exactly a high number, but considering that I like to read quite a few LONG (as in hovering around 1,000 pages) books per year, 50 should be an obtainable challenge for me. This will include the A-Z challenge that I'm going to do. I plan to start January 1 and end December 31.

Most of the books I plan to read are fairly large books as well so I am crossing my fingers that I can do 55. I might have to add some fluff in between LOL

Good Luck Jenni & Jo!

Jen (nekokitty) | 339 comments Fluff books make for a nice read after a long book. :)

Good luck to you Donna! And to Jo!

I'm awesoMEGAN! (missesmh) | 161 comments I am going for 60 books in 2010. Although, I think I did more than that in 2009.
I am interested in doing the ABCs also - so I may start that in January and work it in.

Kathy (readr4ever) | 300 comments Well, I don't really think I'll try for more than 75 again for 2010. I reached that goal for 2009 and was somewhat surprised, as I read all of the Outlander books (1000+ pages each). I think 75 is a reasonable goal for me, so I will stick with it. I might try some other different challenges this year though, like categories or genres or the such.

75 is still a lot. I know I couldn't do it! Good luck!!

Thanks, Donna. 75 is a lot for me, as I'm not a fast reader. I have a friend who is a speed reader and flies through books. I just can't do that. When I was working on my Masters a few years ago, it was really hard to work in my pleasure reading. I know your classes will interfere with your reading, too. Don't you just hate when life interferes with our reading? LOL

Shelli I upped my challenge from 50 to 72...to make it a real challenge...we'll see. I have read 12 so far!
