Maybe he could have been born with his mom and lived with her for a few years then the police break down his door one day and take him away and that traumatized him. Guitar is his only way out. He's put in a foster home and is eventually adopted. He could be kinda scared to trust, afraid that everyone he knows will leave him or be taken away. I think maybe you should make him be emotionally and physically scared a bit because his mom might have been a bit abusive at times too. Of course she was all he ever knew. He had no other freinds and family.

Johnny is amazing. Two-Bit's still my favorite, though. But Johnny is awesome.
Two-Bit, Dally, or Sodapop is my fav....with Johnny right aftet them....

I'm appalled, Skitts! How do you think I could be so cruel? I didn't even think about saying "full lips" until you suggested that I don't.
For his appearance, his lips can be totally normal. (;]) He should have long eyelashes. And his face should be kind of squarish; at least, that's how I imagine him.
About his past... What happened with his Dad? Maybe he left because of his wife's cocaine addiction. He didn't know Taylor would be born, so that's why he hasn't come back for him or anything. Just an idea.
I think that Taylor should be pretty introverted, because of the whole trust issue. I think it would be cool to have him think really funny thoughts to himself, but then you see what he says when he talks to people and you can tell he's holding back and things like that.
That's all I've got.

Uh, it's not like he chose his name. It says in the book something along the lines of "my dad was creative".

If the mother uses a drug (hence the warning on most medications), regardless of its legality, during pregnancy then the child is likely to be addicted to whatever the drug is when it's born.

That's what I thought. It's really sad, but I thought it would be a great idea for a character trait.

Age: 15
Appearence: Curly golden brown hair down to his jaw, blue eyes, roughly 5'6", thin and not overly muscled. Other than that, I got nothin'.
Things you know about the character so far: He's a really good guitarist. He's shy and can't dance. Also, his mother was a cocaine addict, and she used the stuff while she was pregnant with him so he was born addicted (which is just really sad). He has a hard time trusting people, too. He doesn't talk to people much, so he has a lot of conversations with himself in his head (and out loud, but mostly when he's alone) which are pretty funny.
He's got a lot of emotions stored up inside, and playing guitar is his only outlet, really.
Things you know about the character's past: Umm... he was adopted? That and the whole thing about his mom. Also, his mom was kind of a one night stand kind of deal, so he's never met his dad.
Where you think the character will end up: I have no idea. At all. Actually, I think I want him to be able to face his fears.
What you want help with: His past, his personality, his appearance a little bit. (Maxy, if you say 'full lips', I'll smack you when we're back at school)
