Oh and a redeeming quality, I always find a villain with a sense of humor likeable. Even if he kills puppies, if he does it with a funny, I kind of like him.

Another is pretty much the same as stealing from other criminals, a vampire who only feeds on nasty people, or a serial killer who only kills pedophiles, rapists and political figures.

Oooh, did I just group those all together as if they were equally as bad? Sorry, we'll say either kills pedophiles and rapists, OR politicians. Not both. Because we all know one is not nearly as bad as the other.

Depends on the politician. Liberman is seriously ticking me off right now. But I don't want him dead...

I can't either. Well I can knit scarves, dish cloths, pot holders and barbie blankets. Anything square or rectangular. Once I knitted a pentagon, but that was a total accident. So I could knit a shawl for a hairless cat, possibly.

he is nice to younger girls- sweet even.

It is actually odd...because he is so rude and malicious...but I love him for his sweetness towards the girls.

And yeah. I love Vizzini because he's funny even though he's kind of a jerk. ("I hired you to help me start a war! It's a prestigious line of work and a long and time honored tradition.")

Here are some I've come up with:

-hates seeing people in pain--even if they cause that pain on purpose, it hurts them
-really emotional, relatable
-funny
-sarcastic. I love some good sarcasm in a character. =]
-has ridiculous conversations with him/herself (it made Gollum likable!)
-kind to younger children
-kind to anyone who isn't their worst enemy
