message 1: by Angie (new)

Angie (angabel) | 52 comments I'd like to add a quote from the book I just read, but it is not the author's words, but the words of a woman she interviewed in the book.

Do I insert the interviewed woman's name for the "author" field, and will this mis-create an author page for her?

Or should I add a notation to the quote itself about who said it, and continue to attribute it to the author of the book in which it was written?

Or should I... not add this quote at all?

This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments I don't believe that authors are automatically created for quotations. If you put the woman's name, no author page will be created (I think).

As for how to best add it, I have little opinion.

Mahyar Mohammadi | 16 comments I think it's best to add the woman's name, and the book from which it's quoted. :)
