I haven't read this series but I'm sure there are a lot of people who have so go ahead and knock yourselves out chatting about it. I swear I'm going to read it soon lol!

I'm kinda annoyed with the T.V seris of the vampire diarys they changed wayy to much!

I know. They even left out some people. She has another book to the series coming out next year.

Well I've only read the first two Vampire Diary books and in my opinion their better then Twilight.

THey really r. Just don't watch the show first or you'll get confused. They changed so much.

I like Bonnie way better in the book... They made her smart in the T.V show :(

awwww well its gonna have to wait now. i found a little book store and aaccidentally bought the first three books in the lords of the underworld series, the 2nd book in alpha and omega and the last two BDB books lmao. so i got some serious reading to do!

I know what you mean I went on a school trip and I got the first strange angel book Eternal kiss, Vampire beach, Cirque du freak manga, Blue Bloods withc i'm half way through a Night world book and the second sisterhood of the traviling pants!

Werewolfs I've read fifty pages but it's really badly written and really hard too follow so I'm thinking about just canning it

werewolves huh? i love werewolves. i might give it a go anyway. i just started reading blood and chocolate. its werewolf as well. im about 20 pages in and i dont like it so far but im gonna keep going for now, might get better.

well i guess i havent given it a chance yet so im going to pick it back up soon. it might get better. sometimes the start of a book can be slow and seem to go nowhere lol.

OMG me too, i've been watching them online everyweek - how rubbish is it that we have to wait until the 14th till the next episode?

I really can't stand this series. The writing just irritates me. Maybe because it's older and not as 'new millinium' but I really dont like it. I made it through three? I think. I stopped when the MAIN CHARACTER DIED! I seriously stopped the second Elena died and gave up.

This book really just irritated me. I usually don't hate books, but I hate this series.

I liked this book. It's not the greatest, yes it's kinda confusing. And it's not just werewolves. There's some vampires, too. But it's not good vampires, which I don't like! Lol. I also REALLY hated the ending. It's one of those 'rushed, conclude the whole book in 2 pages' endings and I hate it. But as a books, it was okay.

That's another one of those 90's books that's suddenly popular because of the supernatural fad right now. I read another book by the author of 'Blood and Chocolate' called 'The Silver Kiss'. It had me hooked. But the ending sucked so I kinda don't like it. But it was about some scary vampires.

yeah blood and chocolate started off slow but when it picked up it was pretty good. it was nice because it was a little more unpredictable than most stories i read so it was refreshing

Yeah she died... But someone said that she comes back. But until then you read through the POV's of the other not as developed characters.

Like I said, I hate this series. To me, the writing is terrible, the plot is too inconsistant. And it's not just this book. I didn't like LJ Smith's 'Nightworld' either.

oh well thats just great. i was planning to read her nightworld series too lol.

i so love these books but the show is way better lol ok the books a awesome in there only way but the show it awesome too cause you can piture the guys now lol i love both of both of the brothers both i love the one that does kill peopl i would spell his name but dont want to not get it right

Hi, So I'm new to this site and group. :)

SO here goes my first post.

I read the Vampire Diaries, even when Elena died, even when *spolier* she comes back at the ending of Dark Reunion, which was great until that point. I feel like the author just rushed it, and had no other option but to bring Elena back out of thin air. I just wanted to know, is it worth reading the next series, The Return: Nightfall?

I LOVE the show very much. I did read the books and watched the show at the same time and I didn't really get confused at all because I see both as 2 different things.

From the books I only liked the original series to be honest. no offence but me as Team Stefan I didn't enjoy the lack of him in the book... :(
Team Misses Flowers all the way tho haha

As for the show...I love it. All of it. It's awesome. For me its together with Supernatural the top show ever. I am a huuuuuuge Stefan/Elena shipper. I know there are most probably like 80% who ship Damon/Elena but I don't care. I just love Stefan&Elena. I am on lots of Teams when it comes to TVD to be honest haha.
Team Stefan, Team Stelena, Team Salvatore, Team Alaric, Team Lexi, Team Bamon, Team Alaric/Jenna, Team Matt/Caroline, Team Anna, Team Anna/Jeremy, Team Badass (Damon&Alaric) and Team Stefan/Lexi (as BFF's)

Well yea, I myself can't wait for September to come. Season 2 looks awesome. Just saw the Teaser they showed at ComicCon :D

LOL wow! thats a lot of teams. I wish i watched it more, ive only watched a few episodes. Looks like ill have to buy it when they release it on dvd haha.

I agree.. I read half of the book and decided to just stop there because it wasn't drawing me in at all.
