Science Fiction Book Club discussion

This was an interesting and resourcefully written book. The main story was great and I found the survival stuff interesting. Again as with Shade's Children I felt something more could have been done with the story which was an excellent idea.

What did you think of this book?

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me throughly captivated. The ending was very abrupt, but the second book in the series (Catching Fire) picked things up nicely and kept the punches coming. I thought the end was a little predictable but it didn't bother me since I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Unfortunately the last book in the series doesn't come out until August, but I'm definitely looking forward to it!

yh I really gotta read Catching Fire

I would recommend it. The only problem is that it just leaves you wanting to read the next book which isn't out yet :(

good point i might just wait then and read them both together.
