In preparation for a forthcoming sci-fi series

I'd like to know how to post these things. I have a Facebook site and a fan base, but I really don't know much about the process of making a book really popular that way. Most of my fans are poor as the proverbial church mouse. I've mostly gotten "someday" promises.

Book reviewers can't even finish this book. They say it's "too freaky", "it'll scare the hell out of my readers". They say it's too violent, too much, too scary.
Maybe they're right. But then, it wouldn't be horror.

My book UNHOLY ORDERS was the subject of a High Court action to try and ban it even before its UK release. Fortunately the judge decided that as it was a novel and not a memoir that the plaintiff had failed to establish his connection to the character in my book sufficiently to warrant banning its release.

However, it is possible for a person to claim that your novels character is based upon them, and that they have been defamed as a result. This is something that all authors ought to be aware of. I certainly was not at the time I wrote my book, but I am now. You can read for yourself what all the fuss was about.
