Debra Brown (debrabrown) | 49 comments There is a new group called Historical Info for Historical Fiction Readers. Authors and historians are posting information about eras that they have researched, and relevant books can be included as a link on that post. Also, there is a section to post and discuss historical fiction books and history books. We would love to have more historians, authors and READERS become members- after all, it was formed to benefit readers. I have been fascinated with the information everyone has posted. Please join us!

Lisa,

So sorry it took me so long to reply!!! Thank you for your feedback. It means a lot to me. Fixed the problems with the website. At Least I hope I did. My book should be coming out this September. Anywho the music for my youtube video has an interesting story. What you need to do is do a google search for free music. There are some awesome people out there who let you use their stuff for free. It just depends on what type of music you're looking for.

Also, the footage for the movie, same story. Search for royalty free graphics. Footage firm is a really good place. Don't pay through the nose for stuff you can do yourself! Hope this helps. Sorry again for the long wait.

Your site looks really nice by the way.

Have a fantastic day
Cheers
Steph

George Stratford | 7 comments Hi Everyone

My website is a total mix of the novels I've written and the real-life story of how I went from being a long-term unemployed bum with no qualifications to a copywriter/creative at the world's most famous advertising agency.

It may not be Mad Men stuff exactly (I sure as heck ain't no Don Draper), but those years were definitely the craziest time of my life.

To see how it all comes together, why not join me at www.georgestratford.com ?

I'll look forward to your visit, and any comments you may care to make.

Richard Due (richarddue) Home of The Moon Realm ya/mg fantasy adventure series.

TheMoonRealm.com

Gibbering Gnome Press Presents a Tale of Epic Fantasy

For Lily and Jasper Winter, the Moon Realm began with a single secret bedtime tale. As the children grew older, Uncle Ebb enthralled them with thrilling tales of the Dragondain riding horse-sized, catlike Rinn; mysterious tales of peerin-wielding lunamancers manipulating the magic that lies just beneath the surface of reality; exciting tales of flying dragons, swimming merfolk, stomping giants, and troublesome faeries. But as the magic of their childhood faded, so too did the tales. Eventually, they were just . . . good stories.

Or were they?

Now, nine years after it all began, Uncle Ebb is missing.

Lily and Jasper search for clues, but their uncle's mansion is full of distractions. A Tesla generator thrums in the basement. Prismatic electrimals flit around walls resembling underwater reefs. Then a most unexpected friend comes to their aid, leading them to a hidden room where they find a mysterious coin—the moon coin. Before the night is out, Lily is transported to the real Moon Realm. But the moons are in trouble. The Rinn of Barreth are under siege, and the lunamancers of Dain are beset by the very dragons they once loved. Most horrifying of all, the moon Darwyth has fallen to a villain named Wrengfoul, whose creeping evil now threatens to overshadow all the Realm.

Are Lily and Jasper too late to save the Moon Realm, or will they have enough time to write an ending of their own?

Featuring twenty-two stunning full-color illustrations by Carolyn Arcabascio. Volume One of the young adult fantasy adventure series The Moon Realm.

$2.99 at Barnes & Noble. and Amazon.

Mad Gods:
description
The Antichrist lives. He is wanted dead or alive by Satanists, the Catholic Church and the Dark Nobility.

Kostadino must save him or let the world turn into hell on earth.

Commitment:
description
Adam watched Mad Gods drag his father to Hell.

Melusine Rothschild, Grande Dame of the Black Nobility wants to raise him. She is part of the World Elite that live by Predatory Ethics and seek to guide him in wielding the power and influence of his dark birthright.

Adam, the teenage Antichrist/AntiXos, wants none of this. He watches his TV shows in one of Danvers Mental Hospital's nice padded rooms, snugly dressed in his own long sleeved, buckled, canvas jacket. He feels safe here away from a hostile, ravaging outside world.

He's horribly wrong.

Ronald Klueh (kluron) | 12 comments Ronald KluehPerilous Panacea

I just put up a website for Perilous Panacea

The following is from the back cover:

Following an Israeli raid on Iran’s nuclear weapons complex, an American computer genius and an Iranian agent hatch a plan to hijack trucks carrying uranium and plutonium in order to build atomic bombs within the U.S. To manufacture the bombs, an Iranian expatriate scientist is blackmailed and two U.S. scientists are kidnapped. They know they must escape to stop the plan—escape or die. Meanwhile, chaos in the corridors of power in Washington hinders the FBI pursuit of the missing nuclear material. This exciting and provocative techno thriller demonstrates how the U.S. government’s “invulnerable” twentieth century nuclear security is breached by twenty-first century computer technology and threatens to ratchet terrorism to new heights.

Paul West (firstcauseproject) | 31 comments Hey everyone! Here comes my modest proposal...

First Cause opens, literally, with a bang; its initial sequence follows a news reporter and her cameraman who, on their way to cover a festival, find themselves in the midst of what seems to be a terrorist attack. It soon becomes known that the attack is part of a worldwide series of orchestrated explosions, the source of which is unknown. The results are devastating: governments are decimated and, predictably, widespread panic and scapegoating ensue. Meanwhile, a woman named Angela, an advance scout for the worldwide plot known as the Terra Project, has come to reconsider her mission; she meets a journalist named Adam, with whom she develops an unexpected closeness. She tells Adam about her role in the attacks, and he tells his boss and mentor--who is distantly connected to the United Sates' President-appoint. The President-appoint, Cyrus Reardon, is a man who escaped from poverty and had no designs on the Presidency; now he must lead a hastily assembled provisional Cabinet, and sort fact from fiction as society frays along its fault lines.

First Cause is progressively themed, character-driven and speculative in its premise, but it's also an engrossing page-turner. The Amazon version is an easier read in terms of formatting, so I'm adding the link here.

http://www.amazon.com/First-Cause-Pos...

Thanks for reading,
PW

I have sites devoted to specific books as well as to my overall writing and photography. My main site is mademers.com; that's where you'll find everything including my art galleries. I also have a general blog, Bad Egg.

For specific books there is:
Baby Jane

and The Global Indie Author: How anyone can self-publish in the U.S. and worldwide markets

My book blog sites are designed using Wordpress, which is a great advantage for authors because they are easy to design and maintain, and Wordpress has great SEO built in. Note, however, that I do not use Wordpress.com, where they store your blog for free, as that option is limited in what you can do with your site.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the website. I would love to chat about our efforts with promotion. I just had a Skype visit with another children's book author and it was great to hear what she was doing. If you ever want to Skype, email me at [email protected] so we can set up a time.

My son, who illustrated the book and created the website, made the book trailer for me. And he and my other two children voiced it for me (luckiest mom in the world!!). I believe he used Flash to make the trailer.

I look forward to getting to know you better, Lisa!
