Snow!

The only good thing about snow is it does make the trees look pretty and sparkling when it comes down.
Give me war mweather any time.

In January 1999 we only had one day of school due to the snow. That was pretty sweet.
Likewise, last year there was so little rainfall that we actually noticed and cheered whenever there was a fresh snowfall on the mountains. I was excited to go through the streets of McLeod Ganj throwing snowballs at monks, but alas, no such luck.

I WANT snow. I ♥ snow. I miss snow. Ice sucks. We get lots of ice.
Please post lots of pictures of snow for those of us who never get snow, namely me.

My thoughts on snow:
Whopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I do have to drive to school in it in a while, which won't be fun. The worst is spinning out on corners , but they've been laying down deicer for days so it shouldn't be a problem. I consider finding enough quarters for five hours at the meter so I don't have to walk as far (and risk slipping) but I bet many have had the same idea and by eleven those lots will be full.

Are you being sarcastic? I hope you're not being sarcastic.
I'm not being sarcastic. I love love love the snow. I'm cautious about driving in it, but not too worried. The side streets will be a pain, but I'm sure the main roads are clear and plowed.

YAY!!! Then you share in my enthusiasm for snow. I LOOOOVE snow.
In fact, I love it so much, I ♥ snow.
Really. I do love it.
Marla also loves it. She's so enormous and has so much fur it must not bother her at all. She's out there investigating the giant piles Sweeter has been building as he shovels all weekend long.

Sweeter is going to take a break from work to come home and drive me to campus so I don't have to worry about parking and walking! ♥♥♥
What a nice Sweeter.
I like snow too. I just don't like the 2 -3 inches every other day. Wednesday should be fun 8-12 forecast. Now that is worth shoveling.

We did have a major storm (for Seattle that is) last winter at Christmas time that was so much fun. Probably 6 - 8 inches in the city. No cars on the street at all, people were skiing down the hills, cross-country through the streets, was a great party! And dogs were prancing all over off leash so Raider had a great time.
But it's 29 outside, clear blue skies, feh. I want snow!
I'm in Alaska and there is plenty of snow. I HATE SNOW. Thats probably because it's here most of the time. HI TO ALL!!!!!!!!
Living in Alaska would explain my name AkSkittles. The Skittles part come from my friends because thats my OFFICIAL NICKNAME. Weirdly it doesn't fit my real name at all. My real name is Crystal!!!!!!!
My time it's 10:30. I'm 11 years old. in 5 grade. But i have a 9 grade reading level and a 10 grade math level. I hear i'm very mature for my age a lot. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's not!

Just kidding, of course.

IDK! Wasilla isn't very well known. Maybe your thinking of Sitka, Juneau, Anchorage, or maybe Barrow??
IDK why it would ever sound familiar if it's none of the above????
I gotta go. BYE!!!
PEACE,
AkSkittles!!!!

If you look at a national weather map there is a giant arctic cold front just sitting on North America.

I'm in Minnesota and we're in for a big snowstorm tomorrow. Parts of MN are under a blizzard warning. When I think of blizzards, I always think of them as things that only happen in the past, not something that happens today...but apparently it's going to. I love the first big snow. I love snow until after Christmas, and then I wish the snow would melt away.
What are your thoughts on snow? Do you like to play in the snow? How much snow is enough? How are you driving in the snow? Any good snow stories? Snow days?
(Buns, we understand after your stretch in snow-laden central NY if you do a little dance and give the finger with both hands to the land just east of Lake Erie.:)
