I added an edition of David Foster Wallace's The Broom of the System, it's an earlier Avon Books edition with different cover but the ISBN number (0380719916) duplicates that listed for a Canadian edition (non-Avon). So I had to leave the ISBN number blank in order for GR to accept the listing.

Frank, In the book description field you can put the ISBN(s) and state that the edition is the same as the one with the same ISBN but has a different cover. The more information you put in the book description field, the less chance there is for some librarian to delete your edition.
