stephanie, care to explain what you think about global warming?? reasons and stuff.
Well....it just doesn't make sense. If teh world is getting hotter than should I have had a summer this year? It was like late spring tempatures just about all 'summer' here where I live. I would like to emphasize, the word warming. Besides it's just a load of bull. It doesn't make sense. Let's not burn plastic it's bad for the earth, it causes global warming. Jeez...

I live in Alaska and for the last few years it's been bitter cold, colder longer than normal. Normal being my experience over the last 20 years only.
Yeah, in Montana this winter we had a really really cold streak. It hasn't gotten into such low negatives for a while. But I'm not sure what I think about global warming.
I live in tropical country so it didn't give a lot of change of the weather (still hot as usual)But I think I believe about global warming, there's a lot of change of climate out there

Yeah, I'll go for climate change. I'll even buy the theory that the molten core floats around a little. There's also a theory that our solar system is moving into the thick of the milky way (all things wobbling around, you know). I think it was in the 70s that everyone was panicked about global cooling.

This'll through everything into a tailspin. I watched a show last year I think. The theory presented in this show, and the guy had a lot of feasible documentation that sure seemed to back up his theory, though I can't remember any more what all it was. Anyway, his theory was that the particulate matter (pollution etc.) in the air all retained an infinitesimal bit of heat, and now that we're succeeding in cleaning up the air, the air is no longer as warm as it used to be. Go figure. Clean up the air and bring on the next ice age. That might be a bit extreme. No worries though, volcanoes world wide are taking up the load. Frankly, I'd rather have the cleaner air.
about climate change, do you believe that human activity (industry, transportation, etc) have some influence to climate change? and global warming terms does not mean the earth will return to the ice age. It only shows increase in average temperature of the earth due to greenhouse effect

It seems like a natural thing that humans have just speeded up and contributed to.

you know John I do kind of agree with you on that.
I think the earth climate is changing but humans probably have little to do with it. It's something natural that happens when the climate increases and decreases.

20 some years ago the media was screaming about global cooling. I don't think anyone is looking at the last 2000 years at all. If they were, they might be able to see a big picture.

Many climate scientist are not happy with the way Dr Michael Mann has graphed the climate also called "the hockey stick". which the medieval warm period and the little ice age after ward have been erased from the climate graph.

It's funny how people will twist the truth...Everyone believes in global warming because al gore's movie that he made...the inconvientant truth.

i didn't see the movie but global warm was just a dumb and a big scandal.
The globe may or may not be fluctuating in it's over-all temperature but for sure, what we do has little effect - not that we shouldn't take care of our world just the same.

has alot of facts that don't add up to what Dr Mann is saying about global warming.
i believe in global warming but no matter how much we recycle and stuff were never gonna save the planet!!!! :( its kinda sad!
