This is any easy fix (I could just type in the correct title) but before I fix it I wanted to know why the title was displaying this way?

This is "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy and it did not look like that when I entered it into my books so long ago or when I updated this in my books just a few days ago.

I'm just asking in case I see this again in the future. (My guess is that somebody entered the title in Japanese but I didn't see that on the "Librarian Change Log" page.)

Looking at the edition you linked, I'm puzzled. The title I see is "長路", which appears to be correct for this Chinese edition. Are you sure you're looking at the edition which you meant to view? I don't see you listed as having this edition shelved; you appear to have shelved the most popular edition....

This was one of the books that came up when I did a "Compare Books" with another GR member and it listed my 5 stars and the title I didn't recognize.
(Where you list the title I just have two boxes - no Chinese on this machine, i guess)

When I went back to "My Books" and searched it, the edition I am familiar with came up.

When you do a compare books, the edition that shows is the one shelved by the other person. When it's a foreign language edition, that can be confusing.
