From the books you mentioned, I would pick Nineteen Minutes hands down. My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes and Plain Truth are my favorite Picoult books.
As a side note- have you read Perfect Match yet? There are characters from that book in Nineteen Minutes, but Perfect Match takes place at an earlier time in their lives. It isn't necessary to have read it, but I do remember some details about characters' lives in Perfect Match that I already sort of knew the answers to b/c I read 19 minutes first. It doesn't give away major plot details, though.

No, but I did get it. I am reading "The Pilot's Wife" by Anita Shreve and really like it. When I'm done I'm reading "No One You Know."

Any suggest..."
I've only read two out of the ones listed: The Pact and The Tenth Circle. The Tenth Circle was pretty good, but The Pact was amazing. I also got my roommate to read it and she actually made it all the way through it (which is saying a lot about the book :]) I've also heard Nineteen Minutes is really good!

I have read Nineteen Minutes which I liked but not as much as the others I have read by her. I haven't read The Pact or Vanishing Act or Tenth Circle. I thought Handle With Care was good.

No, I didn't find The Lovely Bones to be a gory book. Read it because it's very good. The movie is not like the book as it's too hard of a book to adapt to the screen.

I read The Lovely Bones a few years ago, and as far as i remember it wasn't gory. It was suspensful and considering it was the first book that i read of that authors, i really enjoyed it. My parents saw the movie and i don't know how different it was from that actual book. But you should definitely give it a try. everyone that i know of that's read it, loved it.
