What has your luck with swapping been here or elsewhere? I am thinking about doing it. I use to have a woderful used bookstore but its gone and this might be a fine replacement.

I swap at www.paperbackswap.com . I've had very good luck there.

Cali, i've gotten a few books off of the "swap" feature here on gr, and it was great. paid only $3 or so for shipping, and the book itself was free. works really more like giveaway than swap, and i'm a-ok with that plan. the only drawback is that not many people list books on here for swap, or perhaps it's just that there's not many books i actually want.

I've swapped several times and love it. It's amazing how honest people are; makes me think there is more good in the world than I realized.

I have requested books but not gotten a single one. I am very disappointed in the GR swap system in more ways then one.

I will be sticking with PBS for sure.

Is there some kind of good reads customer service like eBay or amazon if they don't send it?

I just saw there was a swap place on here. They do not really have many of the books I am looking for. I have never swapped books before. I will have to look into this some more. I saw where you can put a wish list, I may just have to do.
