I read 4 books in July & then hit a series of bad ones in early August! :(

I was in need of an audiobook for my commute so I just made a big book order this morning! New books coming my way! Did you get any for your birthday?

No books for my birthday- I was telling everyone that I have too many lol! I did receive an Amazon gift card..I may buy Divergent and Fault in Our Stars when they're out on DVD! I haven't seen them yet!

I am reading a book that my boss let me borrow!

I made Jeff take me to see the Fault in Our Stars on my birthday. It's good. :) I haven't seen Divergent though.

I ordered Wake on audio book & then Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, Fixing Delilah, Leaving Unknown, The Summer of Moonlight Secrets, Definitely Not Mr. Darcy, and Undressing Mr. Darcy.

For some reason, I am fond of contemporary stories inspired by Jane Austen's character Mr. Darcy. When I saw those 2 on Book Outlet I had to scoop them up.

How's your current read?

My current read is really depressing- a memoir about a 22 year old whose parents died of cancer 5 weeks apart. He ended up raising his 8 year old brother! I borrowed the book from my boss because we both loved the book Zeitoun, by the same author!

I hope I'm finished this book by the time I head to the shore in a week! I'm going to the beach for 4 days during Labor Day weekend and hope to get lots of reading done!

Is it too soon to be excited for the end of year book meme? lol :)

I've only read 2 non-fiction books so far this year! :-P

I'm almost finished! I definitely learned more about France during the Holocaust, but I do not care for the main narrator. The book is fair :-/

Ever hear of a "book hangover" after you've read a great book and don't know what to read next? I feel like I'm having a "Richard hangover" hahaha. I just want to read about him or a similar historical fiction with a Richard-like character. OBSESSED! lol

So I was looking at my books stats over the years. Last year, I read over 15,000 pages! This year, around 9000 pages!! So crazy!

I reeeeally want to read 40-50 books next year! If I can break 50, I'll be SO happy and feel successful hahaha!

Also, I don't know if you would want to join me on this, but I want to try and read books in alphabetical order by author this year!!

I think I'm going to set my challenge at 40 books for 2015. I might bump it up later?

I agree about setting the limit to 49- if we are over 20 in June, we know to up the limit !!!

I'll probably post mine tomorrow, 12/30! I'm trying to finish up book #52 but social gatherings and work keep getting in the way!! I'm 32% through and might not be finishing until January.
