Hi Erin, sorry to butt in on your post here, but I am currently about half way through the Likeness and finding it slow going. What are your thoughts on it? Does it pick up a bit? Worth the read? Thanks!

Both of her books have been kinda slow to me. I think I really got into the Likeness when I stopped thinking about how terribly improbable the whole thing was and more than half way into the book. I honestly just wanted to know what happened and that's what propelled me forward.

Her first book "Into the Woods" was good, but I was sorely disappointed with the ending (won't spoil it if you haven't read that one).
