How'd you like Firefly Lane? My friend read it and said it was the best book ever...what'd you think?
Egads, I kind of gave up on this little spot! I started keeping track of which books I read each month on my Goodreads page (I tagged them for each month) and just let this fall by the wayside. I missed out on tracking February, so I have no idea which books I'm missing, but I'll try to start posting here again. My ticker is now updated with a rough estimate of how many books I've read in 2010. Not too shabby!
Also, Sherri, I wasn't really crazy about Firefly Lane. I didn't care for the two characters at all.

Nice to meet everyone!
My name is Teresa. I'm a 39-year-old book lover. I've been reading since I can remember, though the first chapter book I vividly recall reading is "Beezus and Ramona", by Beverly Cleary, around the age of 6. My mom gave it to me to read because it was told from the perspective of a little sister, which I am. I fell in love with Ramona and reading from that moment on! I think (hope) I still have that book in my garage. I'll have to check now that I'm thinking about it.
A little about me: I live in Texas, I have an 8-year-old son, I'm currently a SAHM, though hoping to attend college soon to get a Medical Secretary certificate. In addition to reading, I enjoy surfing the internet, games (board and video), listening to music, baking, collecting cookbooks and recipes, taking walks, watching movies and TV, spending time with friends and family.
