I'm reading anything I can find with Jennifer L. Armentrout - I really love her books! I'm currently on .

If you know of any author with a similar style, please let me know.

I'm reading the newest Fantasyland book by Kristen Ashley. Basically there is a parallel universe with magic and everyone has a twin there. So in these books you end up switching with your twin.

My favorite is book 2, Golden Dynasty, with Dax and Circe. It reminds me a lot of the love story of Khal Drogo and Daenarys from Game of Thrones.

@DemetraP The Golden Dynasty might be one of my favorite books of all times and it certainly is my favorite by KA. I'm currently re-reading her Colorado Mountain series.

@Nina; I really like Kristen Ashley's earlier books. Lady Luck and Sweet Dreams especially.

I feel like her more recent books are missing that special spark. I still enjoy them but they don't feel the same.

Gave up on I found it was getting too repetitive and the author was dragging things out too much.

I am reading The Other Half of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost.

If you read the Cat and Bones vampire books, this is book 1 where Cat and Bones meet, told entirely from Bones' point of view.

Absolutely! Her 'Burg series is also one of my favorites. I just thing, nowadays she's gotten too mainstream and some of her special flavor has been lost along the way.

I'm currently on Shelly Laurenston binge. I don't know how I didn't know about her before now. I finished the Honey Badger Chronicles and Call of Crows series and just started on book 4 of the Pride series. I am DYING laughing -- these characters are absolutely hysterical, charming, and fun. I mean when you start reading about situations that involve weaponizing a bear's natural curiosity how do you not fall in love with these characters?

SL is one of my Top 5! I love everything that many people don't about her books. I'm glad I read the three shifter series in order though because as much as I enjoyed the Magnus Pack and loved the Pride books, the Honey Badgers were sheer perfection 😘😘😘 to me.

I've read Hunting Season (a standalone Crows book), but haven't read the trilogy yet. CAN'T wait to pick those up.

Also, in case you were not already aware, she also writes under GA Aiken, and from what I hear, her style is similar there. I've not read those yet either.

@Cecilia: I love shelley Laurenston. The dragon Gwenvael is my favorite book by her. I laugh so hard.

I'm reading the new alien romance Outcasts of Corin #2. It's a Drix book.

I have been binge reading this series (I am on book 3) and it reminds me a bit of Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews. Humor, romance, obsessed hero, mysterious parentage of the heroine who is very powerful, etc.

The Children on the hill by Jennifer McMahon.

Heroic Hearts is out. It has a short story with Asil from the Mercy Thompson series.

I’m re-reading Empire of Storms and listening to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (this is also a re-read but first time via audiobook).

I read the Game WArden's Mate and Hunted by the Alien Vampire (book 1 and book 4 in a series).

A group of humans is kidnapped and thrown into an arena to be hunted. The longer they survive, the better chance they have of winning the prize of going home.

I read the short story with Asil the werewolf in the Heroic Hearts anthology.

Do not read this as a stand alone. Do not. It is part of the Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs. Asil has been a recurring character since book 1.

I enjoyed some alien romances. "Urf Oomans" series by Bebe Harper. It is how the aliens sound when they say Earth Humans.

They were fun reads. The heroes are obsessed with the women and want to make them happy.

The heroes in the first two books are tentacle aliens. Hero in book 3 is a spider guy with a human torso. He has venom.

I'm reading Sleepless by Romy Hausmann. I just started it and it's already very intriguing and mysterious.

Re-reading - it's a lot of fun.

I'm getting ready to start From Brick and Darkness by J.L. Sullivan. Sounds awesome and I love the tagline.

I am re-reading the Ice Planet Barbarians series by Ruby Dixon.

I spend a lot of time deciding what book to read next (after I finish a book) so having a series to binge read takes away that lost time spent picking which book to read.

I kind of was in a funk on reading and then wasn't doing much of it. So haven't been on here in awhile. Just got back into reading and this is what I've finished over the last few months.

The Others series by Anne Bishop is one of my "keeper" shelf re-reads. I love this series. Meg and Simon are just so interesting.

I love these books too. Book 2 had me laughing. He was so nervous about the "donation" and kept giving her snacks and buying her flowers. Then he's like, May I hunt you?
