I just started Fable by Adrienne Young

I found Ruby Fever by Ilona Andrews on the new release paperback shelf at Barnes and Noble yesterday. The official release date is August 23.

I loved the book.

OMG I loved this sooooo much, five stars all the way.

I need more sentient swords in my life 🗡️🗡️🗡️!

This series is now my fav UF ever... with such a tiny smidgen of a romance that was so wholesome and no-where near took over the plot and action and that I didn't know I needed!

I've read the prequel and book 1 and now can't wait to get to book 3... next year! Boo hoo.

Also, THOSE COVERS 😍 🥰 😘.

Def read the prequel first, it's free on kindle - probably permanently I think.

I really hope you like it even half as much as I do, it needs faaaaar more attention as far as I'm concerned!



Another that I finished recently, and again loved sooo much - but is very much heavy on the romance is this one (also, those COVERS!!)


These are not 'werewolves' or even 'shifters' (shifters are a different thing in this world and animosity between them is key to the overarching series plot), they are Wolves that have to take on human 'skin' in order to navigate the world - for which they have a Human Behaviours teacher - which is the cause of much hilarity, even though the series is not really comical per se.

It means that they are VERY bestial in nature even when in their human forms, the Alphas are equally male and female with none of that domineering nonsense that is so prevalent, and it is the most unique shifter series I've ever come across. It's another on that I really wish more people would read, with the bonus that the series is complete so can be binged if required.

finished the acotar series. now I'm reading Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff

I started reading Daughter of Smoke & Bone and I’m listening to Spider's Bite . I’m 58% done and it’s just ok for me.

Maria Vale's Series. I placed Book 1, but got busy so need to find the prequel.

I'm reading the latest alien romance by Ursa Dax. Alien Heart.

I've really liked this entire series. Book 4 is the funniest.

Has anyone read Elizabeth Hunter's series - Elemental World and Elemental Legacy? Can you recommend them?

@BJ: I recommend all of the books in the Sea Sands series by Ursa Dax. The heroes are so romantic and so happy to have found a mate. I like the world building and each book has a different couple.

It is a great series to binge read. I think book 4 is the funniest but I enjoyed every book.

Legends and Lattes is fab! But there is something fairly big that happens at the third act section, but they overcome it in a way that had me sobbing (with joy) because I'm a big ole crybaby!

I hope you like it. It is very slice of life, and not much actually happens apart from the Big Thing I alluded to above... but that is the joy of it.

I'm currently reading Blood Mercy and The Deep. Really liking blood mercy so far

I really liked Undertaking of Hart and Mercy. Hero is a magical cop and she is a female funeral director / undertaker. They like to insult each other. Then become friends. Then more.

I’ll be re- reading Magic Strikes and listening to Seven Black Diamonds .

I planned on reading different books in between my Kate Daniels re-read but that’s not happening at the moment.

I did a re-read of Kingpin of Camelot. So funny and hero is so obsessed with her.

He's rich and wants her daughter to like him. So he basically buys out an entire toy store.

The entire Hidden Legacy series (all 6 books) was amazing.

I read Treasure of the Abyss. Hero is a kraken and heroine is human.

I’ve decided to take a break from my Kate Daniels re-read to read Desperation in Death . I’ll be re-listening to Kingdom of Ash .

Desperation in Death was really tough for me to read. The children's suffering bothered me, and the subject matter was also hard to slog through. I know child trafficking is a huge problem but it was tough to read about it so realistically.

Eve and Roarke were great like always but it's not one of the funnier books.

The little friend by Donna Tartt!

Just finished reading the wonderful series by Jasmin Quinn, that begins with . Great world building where shifters are part of the world, not integrated but some find human mates. The series has a murder mystery thread. A favourite series by a wonderful writer.
