Hero is a half orc and half elf. Heroine is a witch who is an empath and has some telekenesis.

I enjoyed it. His instincts keep telling him to put her in a nest. She's a witch and doesn't have those instincts but wants to keep touching him since they are mates. He keeps telling her use me for anything you need. I'll give you anything you want.

When She's Common by Ruby Dixon was a great read. She had it as a serial on her website but it's finished now with a really good epilogue.

The heroine is human. The hero is a spoiled and arrogant dog like alien prince. Now he's stuck living on a farm because his brother killed the King and he's hiding out so his brother doesn't kill him too.

So he has to learn to be a better person. She puts him in his place repeatedly.

Just started brutal obsession by s massery. I have ruin by Taylor rose and the dark of you by Ellie masters waiting at Hoopla . Need to finish haunting Adeline, damn it’s long. I have a little over an hour to go in that one.

Bull Headed by Ella Maven

Faraway by Abigail Kelly was a great read. The hero is a merman. She is a human witch. She moves to an island where nobody lives to be a liaison to the mer-people who live near San Francisco. She has the ability to hear thoughts so it's a relief to live on a deserted island.

The hero starts stalking her and leaving her gifts and breaking into her house to get to know her better. He really wants her to be his "mate". She would just like to have one friend because after a lifetime of knowing everyone else's thoughts, she would love a friend.

The hero is half basilisk and half fae. He has a snake tongue and loves to use it on her.

Due to his basilisk gaze which is deadly he has a very promiscuous past. Because if you have sex with him, you are safe for 3 days from his gaze. Since he was a soldier in a war, he would have sex with anyone around him who was interested to keep them safe so he could fight beside them.

She is a human and his soulmate. He doesn't really want a soulmate so he is hot and cold at first with her.

Some of the book was pretty funny.

Enjoying this series more than I expected.

Say It's Mine Rockstar Romance, authentic characters, quick read, really enjoyable so far. I like that it has great side characters and not just the primary love interests. I'm invested in all of them except the antagonists, whose comeuppance I am actively rooting for. Has some mild drug use (coke once and pot) and swearing, and I found it pretty steamy, so if you don't like those things maybe avoid :)
