I'm sure that you'll have no porblem finding suggestions here, you'll find people that read something from just about any genre here. I'm like you and will read just about anything an take all suggestions given to me. There aren't too many that I've read that were suggested to me that I haven't liked. If you're ever looking for something specific let me know and I'm sure i can give you a suggestion or point you in the directiong of someone here who can.

I think it's a great idea that you're getting your children to like reading. I loved to read as a kid also and think that it helps buid imagination and knoledge.

Me to..They have about as many books as I do. Plus they LOVE the libray..

HI, I am Maggie. I originally joined Goodreads a while ago, but didn't get very active until the last several months. I didn't get a chance to read as many as I had wanted this year, that's I think my biggest complaint - not enough time to read! I've always read, am more than a little addicted. I have probably more books than I will ever be alive to read. But that doesn't stop me from buying more. Just went to Chapters one day last week, and bought 9 for myself, also reeived an online order this week with 8 more. Oh well, there are worse addictions I could have, the only thing this one will hurt is my bank account.
I also love to knit, another one of my addictions. I am married, have 3 kids in their 20's, and live in Ontario, Canada, about 45 minutes from Toronto.

Hi, I am Rachana, I'm from India even though I have spent my entire life in Dubai. I have had a love for stories ever since I can remember and I get my obssession for books from my Mom who is a voracious reader herself. So atleast there's someone in the family who understands my addiction :). Its really difficult for me choose a fave book but i have always loved the classics (Hardy, Austen, the Bronte sisters, etc) and confess that historical romances are my guilty pleasure ;). Glad to be a part of this group.
