I love talking books, so bring on the friend requests! :)

I LOVE reading and usually read about a book a week. I prefer fiction and always have a HUGE waiting list at the library :)
Looking forward to being active on these boards and meeting some new people.

And also some new reading friends, hopefully, as I'm brand new- I'd love to have some sort of book club!

so that's one of the reasons I joined this group

Hi Taylie...I read Water for Elephants last year and I loved it. Was one of those books i couldn't put down. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Currently i am reading The Shadow of the Wind. Another one I can't put down. Rita

Hi Lulu! :) welcome here!

Hi Thom. I don't know if a male would be interested in a book about women's issues but if so, try Bad Girl Gone Mom. The mental and physical conditions in this book are closely tied together.

I think I posted a reply to Thom in your thread. Sorry, I also wanted to recommend the same book, Bad Girl Gone Mom to you. My daughter is 23 and loved it.

Hi Sonya. Welcome :) I've notices the YA genre has really been taking off lately. They seem to be more popular than ever (THank you Twilight series). I just finished reading "Witch and Wizard" by James Patterson. It was pretty good but he made it obvious it's going to be a long series. I recently joined this site to make some friends and to hopefully have some good discussions.

Thanks, K.c., I shall check it out :).

I agree! I'm not happy without a book either.
Hey Annie and Brooke. Hope you both are enjoying your time here! Feel free to friend me if you want someone to chat with. Happy weekend!

Nice! where in the book are you? I'm at part 8 (pg 407).
