How many love interests can Victoria Gardella have in one series? :)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments I'm probably a loner here. But I liked Zavier. But, since that didn't work out,I was still torn between Sebastian and Max. Still am, actually, and I know the final result!

FlibBityFLooB hehehe. I think the reason that the love triangle was interesting in this series was how different Max and Sebastian were. The flirty rake vs. the brooding silent type.

Sometimes, I wasn't sure if Victoria wasn't going to end up with someone else, though.

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments I still love Sebastian. He was so much fun!

new_user I always liked Sebastian way more than Max. Max, as far as I could tell, only insulted her. The only lines he exchanged with Victoria were abusive. Literally. So I couldn't see the attraction. Sebastian had his faults, true. Perhaps he was weak in some respects, but even his weakness was noble in a way: he was loyal to a fault. And he demonstrated at several points that he didn't just lust after her, but he cared for her a lot. I think the only thing going for Max is that he's "noble" in his purpose; he will sacrifice anything, including himself, for the venator cause. Big whoop. He has a death wish anyway, and more importantly, he sees Victoria as shite. LOL. Or at least he treats her that way. The one kiss they shared he had to force himself and he told her what a ho she was, if I remember right. Mind you, this is my opinion after three books.

So. Let the discussion begin! LOL.

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments I can see that. It irked me how Max was constantly throwing in her face how many men she's been with. And how he was always telling her that he didn't wish to be one of many. I wanted to get up and rant at him. Ask him how many women he's been with! Why is it any different?

FlibBityFLooB Max was definitely broody. But, he did have a really hot scene or two in the last couple books ;)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments Heck yeah! After the test in the last book? hoo doggie!

Sarah Haha! I like broody men, so it's no wonder I liked Max better. Sebastian was always too shifty. I'd like to see him in a new series, maybe set somewhere else...

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments I agree, Sarah. I think it would be a great spin-off series with him in America. And maybe bring in a few of the characters from the Gardella line.
