Is there a vampire in Chicago who isn't in love with Merit the Sentinel?

On another thread, I wondered if this might turn out to be like the "sookie situation"--where no one really knew what the draw to Sookie was until we discovered she has a little fae blood in her. I wonder if Merit is part fae...

hehehehe. She certainly is a character that is quite strong being that she is so NEW. I agree... maybe there will be some secret why she has all this extra zing. FAE, or not. Hmmmm....

I just finished the latest book in this series -- Twice Bitten. It didn't have as defined as a love triangle as the previous ones, but there was some interesting scenes wiht other characters, including a certain shifter named adam that wouldn't stop flirting with her in the book.

Still, I wouldn't classify this one as having a love triangle like the other two. Very much enjoyed it, though ;)
