Is Bianca destined for the vampire slayer or the vampire?

Man, this series between book 1 to 2 frustrated me. I loved "Evernight", but "Stargazer" didn't do it for me. Not terrible, just not what I expected after the first. Initially I would say vamp slayer, Lucus, but don't know now ... maybe leaning a bit towards Balthazar. Not feeling strongly either way, I guess. We'll see what Hourglass brings to the table.

I felt book 2 was a big let down, too, Steph. I wasn't expecting to see Binca head so much in Balthazar's direction after book 1. I guess Lucas really got on my nerves in book 2. I will likely still read Hourglass, if nothing more than to satisfy my curiousity ;)

Finished reading Hourglass this evening. Hmmm. I'm still not crazy about the direction this series is taking. A wraith? All it makes me think is ring-wraith à la ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL LOTR style.

Also... Lucas begged one thing from the heroine: KILL ME, BUT DON'T LET ME RISE. So, when he dies at the hands of someone else... what does she do? Decides to let him rise...

That might put a damper on things in the love triangle, don't you think?
