Thank you! I LOVE that book. I'm also a teacher. I had read it a couple years ago and a couple weeks ago picked it up and remembered why I love that book so much!

I'm never going to make 50. I'm a teacher and school just started. A lot less reading takes place during the school year. :( I'll keep trying, but not counting on making it. Maybe I'll just start reading a lot of really short books to make the goal! ;)
I'm in the same boat as you. I estimate about 2 books a week are needed to make it to 50 by December 31. I think short books are the only way I'm going to make it myself.
yeah, liz. i'm now reading a little shorter book today, but i don't think i'll make it. too many books i want to read that i don't think i can get through quickly enough. good luck!

I've read almost all of Jodi Picoult's books & I really liked Nineteen Minutes....could be because I was a high school teacher for 31 years & could relate to what I read...
yeah, it was a good book. i've read many of her books, but have many on my bookshelf i still need to read.

I didn't make 50 in 2008, but starting fresh for 2009. Hopefully I make it this year.

4. School Days by Robert B. ParkerI had never read one of his books, but will check out more of his books. I really enjoyed this one. Easy and quick to read.
