As it turns out, female deer mice are promiscuous. They will frequently have multiple mates when they go into heat.

Sometimes NPR is dirty.

Also, apparently sperm like to hang out in groups and play pool or darts together or something.

Melinda (missmelinda) Is this a result of the insomnia? Sometimes NPR helps with that. I can say that, my brother has worked for NPR for the last 15 years.

My sperm like to go on seek-and-destroy female egg missions. Unfortunately, they're an unruly bunch that cause havoc, but don't produce the desired results with those temperamental eggs.

But the fun is in the trying Gus, so don't take the fun away from them.

If Marla still had her stuff I'm sure she'd have multiple partners when she went out too.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments For some reason, the title of this thread made me think of that thread that Lori posted with the pictures of weird animal penises... and it reminded me of a show that came on a few weeks ago while I was at my stepmother's house - something about a dinosaur that was kin to both crocodile and the duck... and they were trying to figure out what its penis would've been like and showed pics of crocodile and duck penises, except to scale with the size of the dinosaur body, the penis would've been ginormous and had the shape/dimensions of either a croc or duck dick about the size of a large pine tree.

This all cracked me up. So of course, I was thinking that I felt like I was in junior high and sneaking a peek of a dirty movie.

Heidi, your comment just makes me think of gooey ducks, and how they might have penises, but they already are shaped like giant penises themselves, and thus don't need any more special modification.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Sally, it's spelled geoduck, but I'm thinking you knew that...

But phonetically I'm right, right?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Yes! Phonetically you're right, Sally. Not everyone knows how to say geoduck correctly. :)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Why, to whomever are you referring, librarian?

PENIS ON THE BRAIN! :)

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I just want to say, I don't have geoduck envy.
Thanks, that's all. :)

Félix (habitseven) That is all.

Female cats do the same thing. One litter of kittens can have multiple sperm donors.

Aw...speaking of, there is a big pregnant momma cat hanging about my house lately. Looks like my next door neighbor is planning to give her a place to birth her kittens and all I can think is I WANT ONE!
