Among some rereads and several other books, I'm also reading
...very strange, different book. I wasn't sure at first but the more I read, the more enthralled I am with it...can't stop reading it.

I just read the synopsis and it actually looks really good! Unfortunately, I can't buy it on Amazon here in the UK for some reasons....!

Nightfall ended up being one of those couldn't put it down books. Very different but I just had to keep reading to see what happened. PNR with a UF feel to it...not the normal PNR..I'll definitely read the other 2 books in the series as soon as I can work them in.

I wasn't sure when I started it...thought maybe I wouldn't read it but I still kept turning the pages and soon had to know what happened. I'm not normally much for gloom & doom, end of the world as humans know it but I must say this is well written, unique, and did suck me in.
I finished First Position by Prescott Lane, a sweet romance. I'm now reading Finding Pride by Jill Sanders.

This is the debut novel for Prescott Lane, an indie author. It's also a pseudonym. Jill Sanders has developed a four book series beginning with his book and has released a romantic suspense novel. She's pretty active here on GR promoting her books.

Yes, Dawn...I have a Kindle. I've loaned books from my Kindle before but so many books are not "loanable"...that's determined by the Publisher. If they allow it, it's for 14 days and then it goes back to the lender's Kindle. You do it from your Kindle Account page when you pull up your list of books. There's a drop down button on the right of each title with different options listed. If it's loanable, Loan this Book is one of the options, and you click on it to bring up an info box where you put the person's email address that you want to loan it to and send it. The recipient person has the option of accepting the book or not.

Great, Dawn. If you want to loan it, I'll be happy to receive it to read. Let's wait until week after this one coming up, as I have all I can read this week already and the time limit starts as soon as I accept the book. I'll PM you with my email if that's okay.

Great to hear...I want to read it as soon as I can. Dawn has offered to loan it on Kindle! Awesome.

Yea, Jonetta! I can't just yet. Don't know why I continue to over commit myself...just addicted to books, I guess.
I opened it on my Kindle a couple of times and read a couple of pages and then made myself move on to the book I need to finish. I'll probably break over this weekend!
Good choices, Dee! I'm rereading Rapture, of course, and I have a couple of other book commitments to satisfy before moving on to another book of my choice.

I think Jonetta also had an issue w/ her Nook. She said she went to the "go to page" option and selected page 3 and she was fine from that point on.

I have to say I am smitten with ebooks. I just love the quick gratification (1 click Amazon) and the ease & privacy of reading on my Kindle. And you can carry 100's of books with you anywhere in one hand! But, having said that, I do still love my actual books and often end up with the paperback & the ebook.

I have also read some ebooks and decided that I had to have an actual copy of the book!
I find that I am doing more and more ebooks though.

I agree! I absolutely adore my Kindle... But my bank account isn't such a fan. haha
I still love to read a "real" book too. Nothing can quite beat the smell of a book... ;)

Did you see my post about these eBooks now being in the digital libraries? Mine has it (NC).
