The winner for the Author of the Month for February is Ilona Andrews. Before the start of February I'll be opening up discussions about her.
AN ADDITION TO AUTHOR OF THE MONTH Jess and I decided to add something to our current Author of the Month format. We're going to challenge everyone to read one book during the month that's by whichever author we are spotlighting that month. There will be a seperate discussion thread where everyone can post which book they are reading and later on tell us what they thought of it! Since it's whichever book you want to read, it can be a book that's in the middle of a series or not. Your choice!
For this month (this doesn't happen often) our Author of the Month and Books of the Month overlap. Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews was one of the winners of the Book of the Month. So, maybe for the book of the month challenge you choose to read the other winner, and read Magic Bites for the author challenge. Or you read Magic Bites for the BOM challenge and a different Ilona Andrews book for the AOM challenge. It's completely up to you.
We've added this AOM challenge because Jess and I felt that it was a great opportunity for all of us to get to know the Spotlighted author a bit better. If you've never read a book by the author that we are focusing on that month, you get the chance to try them out. If you are already a fan, it's the perfect opportunity to re-read a favorite book!
