2. Why you joined: I am intrigued by dangerous heroes and want to understand their psyche why they do certain things and treat people a certain way and where they get their ruthless streak from sometimes without a conscience.
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)?
Since I have only read 4 books,at the moment its James Diaz,(Cry No More) he's a weird one, still can't figure him out. He is smoldering mystery man, talks little, he'll kill with no conscience and he is a misfit with no real family for support. He's had to be hard bolied to survive life. He's just too sexy.
Then Rem D'evereux (Unmasking the mercenery) running a close second. He also has a similar background he is ruthless and he's had to live by his wits since he was a teenager with no guidance, as he is not military. there is also something very sexy about him
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes?
I like these dark heroes because they are different from the normal gung ho alpha hero, they always do things they want to, they have tortured issues which make them hard, they like living on the edge, they are mysterious and choose to live a solitary lives, trust noone generally. Plus they are quite extraordinary lovers in the bedroom. They are not the type of man you take home to Mum and Dad and its great when he puts the heroine's family and friends on edge at first! lol
I am going to Read Anne Stuart's Cold as Ace. I heard the heroes are pretty dangerous, so will probably have another addition soon.

I agree that part of the draw of dangerous heroes is how they remove themselves from friends, family.... believing that at any minute they could die and don't want to leave anyone behind mourning for them... it's that part of them that makes me want to love them all the harder.

That's true they don't want to leave emotional baggage behind when they're time is up. Also, they are quite good at getting the heroine to feel some sort of sympathy or an excuse for them even though they've done something bad
I haven't read enough books on the dangerous heroes as there are so many and would like to read ones with differing personalities.
Hopefully, I will be learning alot from you seasoned readers who are great at explaining why they are just so dangerous, cold, mysterious and just so attractive to us females

Welcome, Maria. Sounds like you have the dangerous hero psyche down pretty well. You too, Dhestiny!
I love Diaz. That man makes me sigh.

2. Because I'm a Linda Howard addict.
3. John Medina, Zane Mackenzie, Gray, Webb, Wyatt, Sam, Ben. Oh Gosh I can't pick only one, I want them all!!!!
4. Because the dangerous heroes are the ones who really love there women.
1. Megan
2. Someone in another group recommended this group
3. Oh gosh, there are so many....these sort of dark, tortured, possessive, deadly dudes are my favorite kind. A few that stick out in my mind right now: Derek Craven and St. Vincent from Kleypas' Dreaming of You and Devil in Winter, pretty much any Linda Howard hero, Valerius Magnus (my favorite Dark Hunter), and Lara Adrian's Tegan.
4. These heroes have the greatest capacity for giving love because they need love so very much. When they find that one woman that can look past what the world sees to the real man beneath, they grab on with both hands and never let them go. They make the best love stories!

Megan and Abby, you are in the right place. I have a real yen for possessive, deadly, obsessed, scary heroes. I think I need therapy!

Why?????? If you do, then so do I!

That's hard one to figure out.
I am still trying to find a heroine who can outwit and outsmart and elude these bad guys. So far its been difficult, the heroine after all the psychological and physical resistance, her defence system is totally useless. They just give up.
LOL !
Maria, that's what I'm trying to figure out in my story. How the heroine is going to hold her own against the hero.

Maybe, many of us are not ready to accept this type of heroine yet.

I think that is a great idea!!! who needs him

This Jake Bannaconni seems very ferocious and scary at the moment

What is that guy's name that starts with a D? Drake? UGH!!! The one who was so badly hurt?

Will finish the book tonight

3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? I LOVE LOVE LOVE rading the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Z's book was the one that introduced me to them, and I also love the new fallen angel series from JR Ward. The most recient of that series was a great read, and has me waiting impatiently for the next one.
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? Why wouldn't someone love a dangerous hero??
