Eve, I deleted your post because it constitutes a promotional post. You are asked to limit those posts to under the promotions folder. Thanks!

2. I joined to find other great books to read. I'm loving romance fantasy as an escape from the serious nature of my job. Ive read or audibled ( do love being read to on the way home from work, especially Robert Petkoff) my way through a lot of fantsay series eg Brandon Sanderson but the introduction of hot and spicy to my reading is just delightful
3. Dangerous hero, all of them just finished Lothaire
4. Have to agree with Tori strong men with soft centre's

And i joined because i have found fellow sufferers of this awesome awesome affliction. seriously the symptoms of this disease are just as dangerous as DH we read about, a racing heart, not so subtle flush to the skin and for some strange reason (probably neural in nature) - tingly bits and sadly drooling. my apologies everyone if you haven't noticed my brain is just a little left of normal and i do tend to ramble.
well my very first introduction to the concept of a dangerous hero was angel from buffy (i know tv and not book but he was my first so he will always have place in my heart) but i digress yet again,
i have many dangerous heros and am always on the look out for more, and my favourites vary with my ever mercurial moods. but just to name a few, bones ( cat & Bones), Z and some of the other boys (who knew shitkickers could be a turn on? (BDB), i don't think i have met a lord of the underworld i haven't taken a fancy to to be honest, raphael (vampires in america), omg why am i having a total mind blank agh, roarke (in death) my gods i love me some irish) and so many more.
well that was slightly embarrassing as most of this post probably is but anyhoo.
who doesn't love a DH really and any girl who claims they don't just hasn't found her boy!
i do have a shameful confession, (i hang my head in shame) i have been a member for ever, like way too long for me to not have introduced myself sooner and i am really sorry. but i would like all you wonderful people to know how much i have loved this group from afar, and you guys have introduced me some incredible series. many many thanks and well i think i have over shared enough for the moment.
cheers.

I am so glad to see I am not alone in my love of the Bad Boy/Dangerous Hero ;-)

2. Gimme more badass heroes *rubs hands together*
3. Let's see...Lothaire, Justin Kinmurrie, Zsadist, Qhuinn, Domenico (The Silver Devil), Gray Rouillard (After the Night)
4. How can one not like them? The ooze hawt-ness, are extremely passionate, obsess, hurt, take angst to a whole new level and make you wanna drag them to the nearest kitchentop.

2. Dangerous alpha-males are my narrative hook. That's an instant trip to the register
3. Derek Craven (Dreaming of You), Travis Maddox (Beautiful Disaster), Slevin Kelevra (Lucky number Slevin), Rush Finlay (Fallen Too Far), The Kade Bros. (Fallen Crest High), The Winchester Brothers (Supernatural)... and so on and so forth
4. Nice to dream about them, but not to actually be with them. But *sigh* they make the butterflies dance when I read/watch them. They're hot, alpha, hair-pulling, panty-dropping, no apology giving knuckle-draggers but we obsess about them when the book is over and the TV is turned off.
P.S. Am I the only one that tries to put a face to the names in fictional books? (Finding celebrities that can play the role)
Welcome, StScho. You are not alone in putting faces to names in fictional books. Glad you joined!

1. Name : Danny Tyran
2. Why you joined?
Since all the books I read could be described as having dangerous MCs, I think that I belong here. :)
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)?
Nearly all the Mcs of the books I read (thrillers, war stories, hardcore BDSM stories,...).
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes?
Is there other kinds of MCs who are really interesting? Anything could happen with such characters: really good or bad things. But anyway, there will be action and suspense. And I do not like too simplistic stories. I like not to be able to tell if the MC is really good or bad. My favorite stories don't have good guys in white on one side and bad guys in black on the other side. I love being surprised by unexpected turns of the plot.
I am reading Captive Prince: Volume One series. Before that I read The Administration series and Special Forces . I will probably read Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10 next.
I also love Robert Crais', Stephen Hunter's and F. Paul Wilson's thrillers.
Joe Pike, even vegetarian, looks very carnivorous and you are better not to make him your ennemy.
And Bob Lee Swagger and his Dad could be very lethal if they have a good cause.
If you heard of Repairman Jack, you know that it is not appliances that he fixes.
Welcome, Danny! I have read both Robert Crais and F. Paul Wlson. I plan to read Stephen Hunter at some point!

I'm Laureen and joined because I love to "closet" read the bad boy romances! I moderate another group where we read from around the world, but I love theses types of books for the escapism of it! A girl can dream after all.
My favorite heroes are generally military, PI and spy/assassin types. Love the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series, Joe Pike and Sam Carver characters.

2. Why you joined? Want to discuss my 'addiction' with like minded folks
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? Barrons from Fever series, Both Z's - from BDB and Dark Hunters
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? The more damaged the better the redemption. Just love the 'I play by my own code' kind of hero plus they are usually sexy as all get out. No pretty boys for me, I like them rough around the edges!
Hi everyone :)
1. My name's Isabel.
2. I joined because dangerous heroes are my weakness, can't resist them...
3. It's impossible for me to name only one, but to be brief, almost all heroes the black dagger brotherhood and dark hunter universe series...
4. Dangerous heroes are never boring and are great warriors and lovers...

Welcome, Laureen, Cynthia, and Isabel!
Make yourselves at home. We have lots of discussions and challenges going on. Let us know if you need any help getting around.
Laureen, I love Joe Pike *swoon*
Which book is Sam Carver from?

Which book is Sam Carver from?

Sam Carver is from an English series by Tom Cain. Only the first two books are available in the US - the rest you have to order from Britain. He is introduced in The Accident Man and is my favorite assassin character. If you like Joe Pike, I think you would like him. He's a cross between him and Jack Reacher.
Happy Reading!

Thanks for the suggestions!

My daughter Ashley suggested this group
Rhage from Black Dagger Brotherhood is my favorite
Because Bad is Hot!

2. Who can resist a group with a title like this?!
3. Michel and Julien from Dominion by S.E. Lund - dark and dangerous twins!
4. Just drawn to them, I guess, because they are intense and often mysterious.

2. Why you joined? - This looks like a fun group, with fellow lovers of the dark/dangerous/brooding hero types.
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? - Any of Lara Adrian's Breed Warriors and also Dexter Morgan... among others. : )
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? - Probably because even though they are a serious threat to their enemies, they'd never harm their leading ladies. Forbidding on the outside, fuzzy on the inside!
