Thanks Karen that's very sweet, but I did get a welcome from Danielle and Pamela. I love the way the group interacts, with no snarly comments or anything like that, just like minded women being honest and funny. Not to mention all the new previews I have downloaded since joining. To day I bought the complete KMM'S highlander series after reading the various comments, and can't wait to get started. But it will have to wait until after Juliet marillier I'm afraid. Thanks again. 3. Who are your dangerous heroes - I love Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. So... pretty much all the Dark Hunters I guess. My favorites are Zarek (Dance with the Devil), Valerius (Seize the Night) and Lexion (Sins of the Night).
4. Why do I like dangerous heroes - I have no idea. But I have always preferred the bad boy anti-heroes. I blame Hollywood. Bad boys are just sexier. ;)

I joined because I just finished tearing through the Fever series and all Karen Marie Moning's Highlander romances. Now, Moning-less I need help coping with my "loss." I am hoping other Fever fans can help me find SOMETHING to read until the next Dani novel comes out next July.

Why do I like dangerous heroes? For the reasons cited by JZB, I'd imagine: 'You think to discover in me a vein of vulnerability, a marbling of sensitivity glimpsed only by you because you’re special, so you can proclaim, “Look, Barrons’ torturous past has made him a monster but only because he’s suffered so much. It’s understandable that he lives by no law but his own—a violent, bloody, conscienceless law—but the healing power of my love will restore his demolished humanity!”'

Looking forward to finding something comparable to the Fever series as a result of my involvement here. Any and all suggestions welcome.

I joined because I am a dangerous hero addict and happily admit it.
My favorite dangerous hero at the moment is Jericho Barrons, but that changes with every book I read.
I like dangerous heroes because they are dark and dangerous and all the things your mother warned you away from as a little girl, but in these books you can swoon over them without getting your heart crushed. And who doesn't love a good bad boy?

3. My dangerous hero hands down is Jerricho Barrons as #1 and Acheron by a wide margin at #2.
4. Why do I like the DH? They have a tortured soul and try to keep everyone and everything at an arms length but truly have a heart of gold (although they would be remiss to admit that)!

Hsin Vega is hero of In Company of Shadows series by Sonny and Ais (it's mm series). They call him Monster. 'Nuff said.:)
I like to read different genres and while I was answering that third question, I thought how cool it is that I actually have favorite for every genre. :)

2. Love bad boys, the badder the better.
3. Barrons, Dominic Dragonseeker, all the GhostWalker men, and others whose names escape me right now... Also, three that no one has ever heard of (because they're my characters and I haven't finished their stories yet): Lucaunt Night, Chris Draven, and Kreegan Moonborn. ^_^
4. It's so hard to make them happy, to find the women who can tame them (so to speak). I tend to get drawn into their stories more easily.
