I love the BDB boys (especially Z and V), the boys from Sherrilyn Kenyon's BAD Agency (especially Joe), the boys from Sarah McCarty's Hell's Eight (at least those introduced in the first book!), Eric from the Southern Vampires/True Blood, too many others to list. ^_^
I love the rawness of bad boys, the tempered (mostly) aggression, the flawed and tortured pasts, the struggle for redemption, the need they have to protect but the fight with themselves to not betray weakness. *sighs* I'm just going to toddle off to my happy place for a while I think.

1. Name: Zeek
2. Why you joined? Love me some alpha males!
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? Jerricho Barrons, Kresley Cole's Lykye, any bada$$ who isn't afraid to show some vulnerability and purrs like a kitten for his woman.
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? Because I like a man who's stronger than me, and I'm pretty strong & independent myself! The alpha's have it. (And for the record, an alpha male is not a stupid bully jock, it's someone who's quiet and confident and doesn't need to throw his weight around to oooze authority. He just is. That's what I like to read about and the kind of man I like to be with!)
Sans and Zeek, I love your reasons! When Alpha males are done well, they are really too awesome!

2. Why you joined? I love to talk and drool over alpha men.
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? Dmitry in "DMITRY'S CLOSET"; Manolito De La Cruz in "DARK POSSESSION"; Thierry in "THIERRY'S ANGEL"
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? I love a man who knows what he doing and what he wants. He is not afraid to get it.

2. Why you joined? Some of my friends are in the group so I checked it out and joined. Plus, who doesn't love a good dangerous hero?
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? There are so many to choose from! My number one, though, would have to be Zsadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? Who doesn't? They make everything more interesting than it would probably be otherwise. In books, there's nothing I love more than a possessive, do-anything-to-get-and-keep-my-woman kind of guy. In real life, a guy like that would most likely drive me absolutely insane, but that's what fiction is here for!

I joined because I am obsessed with bad boys.
How can you have a favorite they are all so sexalicious.
I like dangerous heroes because they are easy to get addicted to.

1. Name - Rae
2. Why you joined? Danielle's invitation and the group looked like it was right up my alley. Plus, on a shallow note, the group icon pic caught my eye. Great way to nab new members. Lol
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? I love me some antiheroes and dark heroes. My classic faves are Lestat, Han Solo and Rick Deckard. New fave is Liam Neeson in Taken. In book form I love the Winter Prince Ash in the Iron Fey series, Dmitry Medlov in Dmitry's Closet, a certain character named Sascha :-) and the heroes in Anne Stuart's Ice series.
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? I love the idea of a masculine and protective hero who's cold heart can be melted by that one special heroine. Also the idea that he would love her so much as to protect her and put his life on the line to save her and/or make her happy. Swoon. :-)
Welcome Rae. That's a good reason to love dangerous heroes. Could not agree with you more. I'm eager to read The Iron Fey series.

Oh! And welcome to the group!

Leah, hear hear! Wasn't that an awesome movie? Liam just has that way about him and I love that he's moving to action movies. Still looking yummier with each year, too! :-)

2. Why you joined? Saw this group linked on another and plan to steal some recommendations ;)
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? Well I've always been fond of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Anne Stuart's bossy men.
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? Fun escapism in books/tv, not so much in real life.
Thanks for joining, Laurie. I am so used to calling you by your screen name. Anne Stuart rocks. Dangerous heroes are completely about escapism for me. I wouldn't go for that kind of guy in real life, at all. It's kind of funny. I am definitely not into real life bad boys. But they are fun in the books.

2-Why I joined: I have always loved dangerous heroes!
3-Who is my dangerous hero? I love Anne Stuart's edgy heroes, the heroes from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward, and my own hero, Sebastien Falconer from my novel, Fire at Midnight.
4-Why I like dangerous heroes: In fiction, they're fun and a well-written bad boy gives me better insight into all men, both living and on the written page.

2. Why you joined? Love those dangerous boys!
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? At the moment I'd have to say the Black Dagger Brotherhood Boys - but please don't make me choose just one! :)
4. Why do you like dangerous heros? They make interesting reading and always seem to be hot too! Great for escapism :)

2. Why you joined? Alpha men are such a turn on.
3. Who is your dangerous hero(es)? The BDB Brothers (with Z being my ultimate) and the Seminus Brothers from The Demonica Series (Lore is my fav). Daniel Craig as James Bond (so freakin' hot I'm starting to sweat right now).
4. Why do you like dangerous heroes? A well written bad boy can get your ~ahem...~ juices flowing. I love the masculine, protective male who is a bad-ass to everyone else and loves his mate fiercely.

1. I'm Teresa, and have been on goodreads a good long time.
2. Rae Lori invited me, cuz she loves my dangerous heroes
3. My book release on April 20th has THE most dangerous and edgy hero - his name is Ryland Keegan, and he's a wolf shifter
4. I like the edge of danger in my books, whether reading or writing. And it's so danged hot to have a man not bound by the rules of society when it comes to dealing with others.

I highly recommend, Teresa's shifter books. I'm SO jazzed to read her second book in the series and see how she turned a potential villain into a hero. Plus, I needs my dark hero paranormal fix. ;-)

I love it when dark heroes don't change too much of their personality. It's much more edgy and original I think because most dark heroes do indeed tend to soften. I do enjoy the latter sometimes because it's great to see the hero go through a transition because of the heroine's love but I'm always jazzed to see the hero mainly keep to his core demeanor if he started out dark. Sexy indeed! :-)
I blame Anne Stuart for this. Lol
The dark hero should still have a little mud on his body, even if he's in a new environment.
All that matters to me is that he's outstanding with the heroine.

Teresa wrote: "LOL well, if you read the excerpt I put out, you'll find her first impression wasn't too great. Poor Ryland. He does a "Bad first impression" all the way around. LOL"
I'll check out the excerpt.
I mean that after the bad boy and the heroine hooks up, he should still have a little mud on him.
Of course the heroine will know that he's still walking in bad boy shoes and she can semi-tame him, when it's called for. But, she lets him have his way as well.
Sam Starrett is a prime example. I find my baby to be a bad boy. Not dark, just bad. And Alyssa knows that Sam can be bad. She let'll let him walk in bad boy shoes, if it's called for and she has his back or should I say, guard his six.

Welcome Theresa. It sounds like I need to check your books out. You are singing my theme song for dangerous heroes!
