Then you save it, open it back up for editing, and use the arrow buttons to move the person back down to their rightful spot on the list.
Takes a few minutes, but can be worth it.
On a different note, can I ask what the term (Revise[d:] and Abridged Translation) is supposed to be for the book? Wouldn't that be covered by the term 'editor'?
If so, we generally don't enter the 'working' editors (or book designers or cover artists or typsetters, etc.) unless they are the cover as Editor of the volume.
Just wondering...

Then you save it, op..."
Thanks. That's a good, if dirty solution.
I think "Revised and Abridged Translation" is slightly different from "Editor" because it means she took the previous translator's translation and revised it and shortened it. This book doesn't have an editor in the normal sense, it has a translator, an introduction writer, and then a person who revised the translation. Sorry to be so wordy....

Very freaky. I would have assumed that the post should have stayed and the link been disabled, but what do I know?

My message had been:
What should be done with empty author pages? I just finished reattribulating materials under the profile "S. November" to the profile "Sharyn November". As Sharyn November is a Goodreads Author, I could not merge the two profiles, and, while editing the individual materials does move them to the correct profile, this leaves the S. November profile behind, just now empty of content.
It seems wrong to leave the empty page like that. Can it be deleted? Will it be deleted automatically at the next caching cycle? Or is it okay empty as is?

Thanks for your advice, Ralph!
