2010 books in 2010! (sike, just 100!) discussion

Okay I'm just getting into this reading challenge and stuff so does it have to be 200+ pages? well mind you I get frustrated when books are less than that and don't bother reading them...(most of my books are recommended to me on here or fanfic...or my curiosity gets the better of me)...but so far I've read:

Ahhh...I loved Dark Lover! Can you believe someone ran off with my copy!?! Any-who, I plan on reading the rest of the serious this year.

OMG someone ran off with ur copy? wow and to think i just about killed my brother when he wrecked the cover of my copy. I think i'd be ready to murder someone if they ran off with my copy! i LOVE the BDB series! And ur gonna love the rest as they just keep getting better and better!

UGH!!! The messed up part of it is, I don't even know anyone who reads! But if I ever do figure out who it was, there will be a little torture session before I murder them.

so true...seriously I nearly ripped my hair out when I stayed another week on holiday so I pulled out on our tauranga trip and came home instead haha! I liked it at the start with Jonathan Harkers diary entry! He made it exciting and mysterious the way he descibed his surroundings and Dracula's weird mannerisms but it was so slow, I'm sure I had too many distractions for me to really get into it...idk but other than that yes it was exciting lol (I like the superstitions in transylvania though)

I liked that too. I think that might have been the best part. I liked the superstitions and all the mysteries, and the descriptions was really good :)
it took a long time for me to read it though... it annoyed me when Lucy didn't become a vampire, but just lay in bed and got worse and then better and nothing else really happened..
and i never really understood the thing about that Renfield..
but allthogether it was a good book :)

so have you read any other classics except for Jane Eyre (wich i'm going to read sometime soon) ?

not yet, believe it or not, I haven't even read Romeo and Juliet lmfao...how insane is that right, but I will soon lol...I want to get reading all the bronte sisters books! I love their work and their background story, but I'll get back to on that one when I've read a fair bit lol

ooh might add it to my 'to read' list lol the tenant of windfell hall...yeah I was reading an excerpt about how the bronte sisters pretended to be boys because back in those days, women writers werent taken seriously so they posed as boy writers to get their success then later revealed they were girls lmao...good one! I would do the same haha!

its supernatural i think, its the second instalment to the immortals series, its okay i guess not something ill read again, but different people have different views, you can give it a try, i woulsn't buy them like i did lmao...
