How about your favorite bodyguard themed books?
Got to love those hunk-a-licous bodyguards that risk their lives for their ladies!

Oh! I LOVE this theme, too! I read and loved Cindy Gerards Bodyguards series. And her BOIs series, too.

How about Born of Night. I'd love to have a guy like Nyk as my bodyguard.

Is it good? I've heard that series isn't as good as Dark Hunters.

I tried to remember the bodyguard themed books I've read which are many but some that I think may qualify are more like the hero being in the right place to protect when the bodyguard was needed, such as Linda Howard's Mr. Perfect. The hero was her neighbor who happened to be a cop.
But here are a few that are really bodyguards
Bodyguard by Beverly Havlir
Satisfaction by Marianne Stillings
Heartbreaker by Julie Garwood
Murder List by Julie Garwood
Moving Target by Cheyenne McCray

new_user I like this theme, but I prefer when the bodyguards are a little dangerous. Otherwise, they're normal Joes, LOL.

Debbie (halfpint66) | 272 comments Moving Target by Cheyanne McCray was really good.

--I really enjoyed it, Dhestiny. It's set in space, so it's got more of a sci-fi vibe. I don't compare it to the Dark-Hunters. I just enjoy it as a separate thing. JMHO.

I agree, NU. I like the bodyguard to be scary dangerous, and have a rep for being lethal. :)

new_user And broody doesn't hurt either, hehe.

Fani *loves angst* (fanip) The only one that comes to mind where the 'bodyguard' is reputed to be lethal and has everyone backing away from the heroine, is Angel by Johanna Lindsey, which is a western romance and the hero a dangerous, cold gunfighter.

Do you think this can be read alone?

I love Nik and Cal. Two to die for heroes for the price of one book. I just finished Madhouse a few minutes ago. Fantastic series.
