I LOVED the Historian and so I was really excited for this book by the same author. Interesting concept - psychologist must determine what made an artist try to slash a painting at the National Gallery and that search leads him to a historical mystery involving an impressionist painter.
But, the book was unbelievably BORING. The characters just seemed flat and unbelievable. And yes, boring. I've been fortunate not to have read such a horrible book in years.
