Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

So I've finished the Night Huntress Series. & I've read other books suck as, LOTU, TWILIGHT, HUSH, HUSH, Immortals Series, Sookie Stackhouse Series, The Great Divine, Dark Hunter Series, Black Dagger Brotherhood, Blood & Chocolate, VA.

But none compare to Night Huntress. I want to find a similar book to that! One with 1st or 3rd POV. Has the sme protagonist during the series. Is adult. Has a lot of romance in it! Anyone have any suggestion??? Please help!!

How about Rachel Vincent's Shifters series? It's not romance driven (but then neither is Night Huntress), but there is a romantic storyline that is a key part of the series. I think it's a brilliant and the next book is released this month.

How about the Carrie Vaughn Kitty Norville Series, or the Sisters of the Moon series by Yasmine Galenorn, or the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning ..

Not really, I think that's why I like her so much.. The little there is, is in passing..

Patricia Brigss (Mercedes Thompson) series is also really good.. Not much on the romance side.

Yeah I've herd good things about that series too.

I think out of all the books I've recommended here today, the only ones that are more on the Romance side is the Yasmine Galenorn series.. The rest not so much.

How about Karen Marie Moning's Fever series? Although you might want to wait until the last book is released because the cliffhanger endings can drive you nuts. :)

I totally agree, waiting in between books was horrible.. So I just bought them all at once, I can totally wait till the new one comes out though..

The series is worth it.

I really enjoyed Thirst books 1&2 by Christopher Pike. You might like those!

Sounds like you like urban fantasy vampire books with a kick-ass heroine and some sexual tension/romance. Based on that, I'd recommend the following:

* Jaz Parks series by Jennifer Rardin
* Rachel Morgan (aka The Hollows) series by Kim Harrison
* Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill
* Vampire Babylon series by Chris Marie Green
* Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton (warning, these can be borderline erotica in some of the later books)
* Elantra series by Michelle Sagara (fantasy rather than urban fantasy, but has a vampire-like race).

I would like to post my own subject, but I do not see how. I would like to know the truth about a matter, I am of sound mind, something has happened to me and I need real help, this is not a joke.

My motherboard has been replaced in my laptop, my phones have been hacked, there is hardware in my laptop that communicates to my phones, Some group of people modify what i see in Google and yahoo search engine, they hacked my computer on a clean install within a few seconds once on line, they replaced my xp dell install disc, with a modified version, I repair computers among many other things, the cost of these hacks and software modifications and what has happen to me is beyond what any person can do, no matter how intelligent or wealthy, a group of people did this to me, it would seem they have kept taps on me for a very long time, i can not be sure, but i do think they are interested in my philosophy, I cannot be sure, how they knew or cared I do not know, but a women I loved greatly seems involved, It would seem she desire me to seek her out, I would like help in this matter, I need direction, Perhaps, she think I am her Muse? Or perhaps some scifi or religious group have interest in me.The group most me secretive and be of considerable wealth.


Any Ideas, do not think fiction, think real, how or why? OK, I think there are people who know, but do not which to be the one who told me as the group would know, so you can send answer by snail mail, please I am a caring person, do you really think this is fair to me, please help me. if your answer is proven right, I will send 2,000 cash back to you, I understand it is not much, but I am unemployed right now.

I second the Rachel Morgan/The Hollows series! They're awesome. I'm reading book 6 right now and it's hard to put down!

I also really like the Jaz Parks series. I've only gotten to read book one yet but book 2 and 3 are waiting in my shelf...
