Heather | 16 comments I've read 6 books so far this year, and am in the middle of books 7 & 8.

So far:

Pride and Prejudice
The Memory Keeper's Daughter
Heretics of Dune
Dead After Dark
Preacher #1 & #2 (yes, I know, these last two are technically cheating ;))

Currently reading:

Sense and Sensibility
Living Dead in Dallas

Next up:

IT

Heather | 16 comments Finished Living Dead in Dallas, cheating and starting Club Dead instead of IT. Hope to finish Sense and Sensibility this week.

Heather | 16 comments Finished:

Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #3) by Charlaine Harris
Charlaine Harris

last night and found myself enjoying it much more than the previous two books in the series.

Still working on Austen, bit by bit - apparently 19th century romantic society isn't anywhere near as interesting as 21st century vampire life. ;)

Finished another of the Sookie Stackhouse books last night:

Dead to the World
Charlaine Harris

Harris either hired a ghostwriter or found a fantastic editor for these later books.

Now to make myself finish up Sense and Sensibility before moving on t Stackhouse #5.

Okay, okay, so apparently I'm a Sookie addict, now. Just finished the first 8 books of the series - and will probably go find #9 tomorrow.

All Together Dead
From Dead to Worse
Charlaine Harris

Heather | 16 comments #19:

The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory Philippa Gregory

After reading "The Other Boleyn Girl," I decided to take a look at the rest of Gregory's books and to start at the beginning of the Tudor saga. This one didn't disappoint, so I think I'll continue on with the Boleyn Inheritance.

message 12: by Heather (new)

Heather | 16 comments First comment since March 13? Wow...I've been slacking on my commenting. Since that time I've finished:

The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory The Virgin's Lover by Philippa Gregory The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, #10) by Charlaine Harris House Harkonnen (Dune House Trilogy, Book 2) by Brian Herbert House Atreides (Dune House Trilogy, Book 1) by Brian Herbert House Corrino (Dune House Trilogy, Book 3) by Brian Herbert The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (Millenium, #3) by Stieg Larsson

Which, I think, puts me at 28 - WAY behind where I should be. Time to get to reading...

message 13: by Heather (new)

Heather | 16 comments Finished books 29, 30, and 31:

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire Three Cups of Tea One Man's Mission to Promote Peace... One School at a Time by Greg Mortenson The Unheard Truth Poverty and Human Rights by Irene Khan

I am way, way, way behind where I need to be at this point...

Do reports count as books?

message 14: by Heather (new)

Heather | 16 comments Almost forgot this one, 32/100:

206 Bones (Temperance Brennan, #12) by Kathy Reichs

message 15: by Heather (new)

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Girl Who Played with Fire
