Some could read Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia

I would accept that

I really enjoyed that book.... (The audio was read by the author, who did a really great job.)

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 1256 comments I did enjoy reading Eat, Pray, Love. Not sure what I'll read for this task. Nothing immediately slaps me awake.

Kathleen | 144 comments One of my personal beliefs is that everything happens for a reason so I was thinking of reading I Do Not Come to You by Chance. Does that work?

As I said as long as you can explain the connection of the title to your personal philosophy its fine - I'm going to be pretty open on this task.

Sure

Thanks, now just need to find something to fit! maybe a book about students or something...or a book about somethign I've never read about so I can learn something?

message 59: by Juli (new)

Juli (julifabulous) | 61 comments I'm planning on reading Bright Shiny Morning because my personal philosophy on life is positivity. I try to radiate positivity because focusing on the negatives just weighs you down. I wake up every day and just try to keep on smiling. So, I hope this will fit.

message 60: by Angie (new)

Angie (angelitabonita) Now I am choosing Everything is Illuminated because the title itself says a lot about my philosophy on life. Illumination for me being light and happiness, or joy. I live my life in the light and stay true to myself and others. If that makes sense.

Don't think the book holds the same but it just said title so I'll read it and see what it's all about

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 1256 comments Sara <3, I found the book for you!! Terminator and Philosophy: I'll Be Back, Therefore I Am

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 3041 comments I strongly believe in angels. Anyone know any good books fiction or non fiction about angels?

message 64: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 1256 comments Speaking with the Angel looks interesting. Not sure how Kiss an Angel would fit since it doesn't appear to have any angels IN it. Saffy's Angel looks REAL promising and heartfelt. Johnny Angel by Danielle Steel seems to guarantee at tears! Where Angels Go or Angels at Christmas: Those Christmas Angels\Where Angels Go looks adorable!

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 3041 comments Thanks Tanja. Those look great. I will chose from those.

message 66: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 1256 comments I have to laugh that Saffy's Angel is on the WORST book list AND the BEST book list! I think I'm going to put this on my TBR. Looks like a promising series.

message 67: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 1295 comments What about The Happiness Project? The title would suggest a philosophy of seeking happiness in the day to day things- the full title is:

The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun

My philosophy on life includes trying to make each day count by doing things that matter to me!

Does this work, Cynthia? I would like to work this in since my hold on it came through from the library!

Nicole | 1295 comments Jayme wrote: "I strongly believe in angels. Anyone know any good books fiction or non fiction about angels?"

Angel Book: A Handbook for Aspiring Angels

Not sure if this is still in print, but my grandmother gave it to me years ago and I love it!

message 69: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 1295 comments Can someone please tell me whether or not you think The Happiness Project fits this task? It is due back in 4 days and I can't afford to read a book that won't count with so little time left to complete this challenge. Thanks!

message 70: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 1256 comments If your philosophy is about being happy, that'll work.

Jayme Pendergraft | 762 comments Hi,

Would the Tao of Pooh or the Te of Piglet work for this task? Thanks!
