I love Bubba, I would love to see him in the show every so often.

I also just love Bubba but I always have! He provides such GREAT comic relief. It seems they could use an impersonator but just never mention Elvis. anyone could figure it out!

Alan Ball did choose not to have Bubba in the series because he is a big Elvis fan. He said it once in an interview. Now Alan Ball is not the producer anymore. But I don't think that this decision will be changed. I loved Bubba in the books - in my own imagination. But I don't want to see a Elvis impersonator at the show.

I realised there is a Bubba in True Blood I was wondering if anyone else picked up on it. I only noticed the other night when I was watching an episode and it was Jason's nickname for hoyte. so if you want to be nit pickie Bubba is in the tv series it did make me smile ok it isn't the same as the Bubba in the book but they could get round it by saying they do mention Bubba
