Have you read the opening of the Poisonwood Bible? A character in it only speaks in palindromes - a little irritating after a while!

I can imagine. And boy, that book has zero appeal to me.

I read one Kingsolver, The Bean Trees. That was enough. Clunky writing, barely disguised political screed.

I think I read one, too, only it was non-fiction about food and growing your own veggies and raising turkeys and such. Forgot the title. And much of the book.
