I read one Kingsolver, The Bean Trees. That was enough. Clunky writing, barely disguised political screed.

I think I read one, too, only it was non-fiction about food and growing your own veggies and raising turkeys and such. Forgot the title. And much of the book.

Oprah books are no more. From now on I will be the arbiter of what the Great Unwashed shall read. Stay tuned for pronouncements. If my Minister of Palindromes can fashion one in the shape of a mirror image, so much the better.
