Sheri S. (sheaxma) | 30 comments I read this book several years ago and cannot remember the author or title. The story was set in a modern time and I believe the cover showed a man walking down a dusty road. I thought the title was The Rain Maker, but when you try to search that title, it brings up John Grisham's The Rainmaker (this definitely was not a court room drama story!!)!

Wayne Baxter | 33 comments I think the Rainmaker your looking for is a play that later put into novel format. It was written by N. Richard Nash in the 50s.
