I admit that although I'm a mod on the group, my participation is some what limited, as I pretty much only read the paranormal genre and m/m books these days, so I have nothing to contribute to the contemporary and historical discussions - but I'm here, and reading. =)

I like to talk about other things besides books.

I've been reading and trying to keep up with emails and my online book groups and other things.

I have created this thread, because it was quiet last night and this morning, when I have came on.

I know that everyone have a busy life and that people will not be participating a lot.

I've joined a number of goodreads groups and probably don't post in most of them LOL!

I'm in some groups that I haven't posted on yet. Others, I try to post at least once or twice a month.

I was being somewhat productive. Washing clothes, cleaning out the hallway closet, doing taxes, etc. But I'm here now.

It's quiet in here today.

I`ve got a roaring case of the flu,but reading you guys keeps me from dieing of boredom,as I gaze at the same 4 walls for a week now

I'm about to go do some reading myself.I like reading stories about best friends turn lovers. Body Language by Suzanne Brockmann has my attention.

I might write a page or two to my story His Bodyguyard after I do some reading, because it's on my mind. If not, I will do some writing to it, when I get back from my trip.

I'm currently down the wire with final edits plus writing new stuff and reading a variety of books (pretty good reads, too!) so my online time is pretty short nowadays.

Kathy Anne, I do hope you get better soon. The flu is no fun at all. :-( Hope you get to read a lot and rest though!

Okie. I haven't read it yet. I grabbed it in audio so I can work while listening. Otherwise it may take me forever to get through it. :-(

You may like it more than I do. I will finish it and write my review. Hopefully, I should be finished with it, before I leave to go out of town next week.

Rae--This flu is the pits,I took my Granny to the Dr and came down with it a couple days later,so anyone going to the Drs be extra careful as everyone in there was coughing and sick with it.

Body Language is an okay read. It's not Dave and Sophia best friend turn lover read to me.

Yikes! That's horrible, Kathy Anne. It's a bit scary that the doctors would be a high chance of catching things. It makes sense in a way with so many sick people but still scary. Eek.

What's the IR book called Rae and what are the hero and heroine doing that might not be good for my eyes?

The book is called Restrained Desire by Monique Lamont. It starts off awesomely but whenever the hero is in the room with the heroine, he turns into an adolescent boy who just hit puberty! I like that he's attracted to her and all but sometimes the description goes overboard in how the hero and heroine react in one another's company. Too much body description and not enough emotion I guess. They're friends at first but the heroine is so oblivious to the hero's interest in her. It's a cute story though. I'm about halfway through and it's really kicking into gear.

The latter, I think Lol. One awesome factor is that he won't go into the baby bargain w/ the heroine without marrying her and caring for her first. I really liked that about him despite the rampant pubescence lol.

Hmm, so far there's no real acts between them. The closest is dreams and the hero imagining it. I'd say it was highly sensual without becoming too crude.

Not to that extent, no. But there is specific description as to how their bodies react (and what part) and stuff. If you want an excerpt, let me know and I'll send you a message.
