Sofia (sofiakennedy) | 2 comments I've found a couple of trivia questions that are asking of a person's opinion, such as "Is this book the best ever written?", or "Did you like this book?", etc. Is there a way to delete such questions?

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 2400 comments Sofia, I don't think there's a way to delete them but librarians can hide them.

At each of those questions, there's a "hide" link.

Are we talking about the never-ending trivia questions or quizzes? The former can be deleted; the latter can be hidden.

Ah, Sofia did say trivia. Correct.

Lobstergirl The first five questions here are identical, at least in my browser. Can someone delete four of them? Thanks.

DON'T DELETE. The questions are NOT duplicates -- they're just showing up multiple times for some reason.

Thanks =D I can't find it anymore, so I'm assuming someone hid it. I'll use that if I find more questions like that.

Ralph Gallagher | 200 comments I think it'd be nice if we could merge trivia questions like we can merge quizzes. I wonder how hard that'd be to implement.

Good - didn't want to mess with it myself as I suspected it could be a bug.

Lobstergirl And I'm seeing the same bug today but it's a different question (created by the same user though).

Not an answer to your issue, but since the duplicate-question software doesn't work all the time, I always do a trivia search to see if the question I want to add is already in existence. I think this should be part of trivia-writing etiquette.

I already let the PTB know about the bug. Very weird.

Being able to merge quotes would greatly reduce the Twilight quote spam. (How many times can they ask what color his eyes are ffs!?)

Except quizzes can only be merged if they have the same author. So that wouldn't help much for trivia.

This should be fixed now.

Sometimes it would:

Same author, consecutive numbers.

Incidently, is there a specific section for trivia-type librarian chat? If not, why not?

Um. Because I don't think anyone requested one before? ;) Coming right up.
