Didn't look to see what you've already read, but all the above series are interesting and about vampires :)

I also really liked this series. The Kyndred series are a separate series, but connected.

House of Night are Young Adult, but they're neat reads.

Also Young Adult are the Vampire Academy series. Also quick reads.

It looks like you like a lot of the same ones I do. Colleen Gleason is also Joss Ware have you read that series?

The BDB series is good, too, but like the reader above said non conventional.

I haven't read it yet either but was surprised to find out she was the Colleen Gleason. I loved that series and devoured it in a heart beat. I was so bummed to find out I would have to wait till 2011 for more of Victoria, Max and Sebastian (heavy sigh).

Do you guys know if Rachel Caine is bringing the rest of the books out like a 3-1 deal? I bought the first 3 books that are a reprint and their all in one?

I LOOOVE Morganville. I devoured the entire series and I am patiently (ok, ok, NOT so patiently) awaiting the 8th! Yay! Only four more weeks!!

Now if you have a really good library or used bookstores there are a couple of older series out there that are no longer in print. However, I have seen them recently.
- Kiss of the Vampire by Nancy Baker
- The Crimson series by Trisha Baker
- The Austra series & The Dracula Continues series by Elaine Bergstrom
- The Saint-German series by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro

For a different kind of vampire book try Nancy Haddock's Oldest City Vampire series.
For a great vampire couple try Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series.
good & bad vampires with lots of shifters, try Sookie Stackhouse by Harris or Anita Blake by Hamilton.

Dracula
Also,
Hellsing, Volume 1
These books are the epitome of awesome in vampire lit

Black Dagger brotherhood- nice plot

Chicagoland Vampire- modern, urban, easy read

Vampire Academy- you already know how good it is ;)

Also Vampires in America by D. B. Reynolds. Starts with

On the lighter side there's Love at Stake by Kerrelyn Sparks. Starts with

These are all adult series.

a good vampire book is; The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark #1) by Kresley Cole.

interesting and sexy, LOL,, :) oh and kresley cole, not pure all about vampire but still great!

No one has mentioned Mary Janice Davidson's Queen Betsy vampire series. It is chick lit with vampires. The main character accidentally becomes a vampire. She is obsessed with shoes and is kind of dumb. If you want a light, fluffy read this series is good. The first 4 books were great and after that the series went way downhill and I don't read it anymore.
I also like Jennifer Turner's Eternal series. There are 2 books so far, Eternal Seduction book 1, and Eternal Hearts book 2. Very old vampires and lots of creative worldbuilding. The first book has a homeless drug addict for a heroine (sounds weird I know, but it works out) and the second book has a vampire assassin as the main character vampire.
The first book Eternal Seduction, is free right now on Amazon. I bought it when it was first released and loved it. http://www.amazon.com/Eternal-Seducti...

You're right, it was a great series, but Undead & Unfinished was really bad. It was confusing, and the end was horrible. I purchased the latest (Undead & Undermined) but have not picked it up. I keep hesitating because of the one before it.

Lynsay Sands series the Argeneau's is also very good. They try to blend in with humans. They are very funny & great characters. It has just vampires in it.
Molly Harper, Jane Jameson series, is very funny & a light read. It has vampires, a witch, and bitchy family members.
Lynda Hilburn, Kismet Knight series, has vampires and witches. The main character is a shrink and some of her clients are wannabe vamps and then a few are actually vamps, and evntually she ends up with the master of the city.
Nancy Haddock, Oldest City Vampire series, has vampires, shifters, and witches. The lead vampire was buried alive and was dug up after a few hundred years. She now has a human sponsor that is also her best friend. It's a cute series, not full of blood and gore.
Laura Wright, Mark of the Vampire, is a good series about three brothers.
Feehan, Carpathians series, has 22 books so far and has a lot of characters in it. It's a good series, with some being better then others. Also has witches in it. The Carpathians can shape shift.
Glory St. Clair series by Gerry Bartlett is a very funny series. Vamps and a few shape shifters.
